One of the most severe cold air outbreaks in years is possible from the Upper Midwest to the Northeast next week as the jet stream crashes south and a large lobe of the polar vortex plunges toward the Great Lakes.

(My take : We have 15 years to prepare for routine cooler/ colder temperatures, if her analysis is accurate.
Worldwide ambient temperatures, jet stream, and climate are controlled by ocean currents and temperature which comprises 71% of the earths surface, and is based on solar gain/loss.
The oceanic bodies of water warm or cool much more gradually than air temperatures, so such change should be gradual.)

Thanks for the ping. I listened to a Video about her and the presentation she gave a couple of months ago. Someone half-jokingly reminded her of what can happen to someone who tells too much truth.
At any rate, for gardening, I’ve been planning on shorter seasons and I expect that such things as the corn belt will shift to the south. I am ordering heirloom seeds with the shortest days to maturity. Any perennials I am looking for at least zone 4 instead of the zone 6 they switched us to from a 5 a few years back.
Crop failures already showing up around the world- actually for a few years now. Whatever warming there was actually stopped over a decade ago. It was just part of one of the cycles. Now we are in a cooling cycle. Man doesn’t control these cycles. Scan the headlines:

OH MY GOD!!!!!! LEAF FALL DAMEON wreaks havoc on the northern U.S......expected seventy-eleventy billion leaves to make ground fall by Saturday. We're warning everyone this is a major even.....DAMEON is expected to cost untold millions of dollars in gas and electricity from leaf blowers.....
Everyone stay in doors and never venture out again. This leaf event has been attributed by top notch climate studies, who note, we're all gonna die!!!!!!
