That reminds me of something that Selco or Ferfal said regarding their survival during total collapse or civil war.

In S.W. Missouri, after the civil war, when the criminals were raiding and pillaging, the local communities formed Vigilante groups - known as the Baldknobbers.

While the leaders may have been Christian, with good intentions, sometimes the younger or less upstanding lads took matters a bit too far. Led to tragedy.

History could repeat..but let’s hope and pray not.

That would depend on each State’s rules regarding their CongressCritters. For example the citizens might be able to do a recall. The incarcerated could do the right thing and resign, and the Gov. appoint a replacement or new election. Don’t hold your breath - chances are slim and none.

When someone dies while holding office or resigns each state has rules. Regarding those who were ousted in previous Congressional Congress, Of the 20 that have been ousted, only 3 were unrelated to confederacy, so the precedent, while small, combined with current laws, is sufficient for each state to react I would think.

That was my suspicion too. My sister had lung cancer. Generally they would give Chemo after operation. Either no hope or she’s too weak came to mind.

You know, Tom Clancy was always writing about threats to the world that he saw as possible, and he even predicted the use of aircraft as a weapon against government (or other) buildings. One thing he predicted that we haven’t seen was wide-spread biological warfare. One of his scenarios had a private corporation weaponizing ebola, then intending to release it, then announce they had a vaccine for it, but by using a live virus vaccine they hoped to inoculate the population with the disease and kill almost all of humanity.

This notion of using a “vaccine” to spread the disease scares the life out of me and I don’t trust that (((they))) don’t use it that way. Flu shot.
