After one day of Democrats in power, America is already saying, "What the hell were we thinking?"

Yes, we are thinking "What the hell were THEY thinking?" But the Dims are getting exactly what they voted for, so why would they be upset? The Dims ran on impeachment, higher taxes and resist and enough people voted for them to take over the House. Trump is at 50%, so half of the country must support the Dim agenda. The media has been driving the Dim resist agenda into the heads of people for 2 years.

We will see after 2 years if this radical Dim agenda works to Trump's & the R's advantage.

I called Corey Gardners office, told him to stick with the President on the wall.

I also called Gardner's DC office & told the cubicle worker who answered the phone we need the wall and it is a national security issue. I got my message out before he could ask for my zip code. When I gave him my zip (CA) he hung up on me. So I'm not sure if Gardner will get the message.

I will also be sending POTUS an e-mail that we support him & BUILD THE WALL.

Wanted to get here sooner but my Sammy surprised me this morning and came and slept on top of me. Not his usual thing to do. So I stayed where I was while he slept. I guess he needed bonding. He's a very nervous guy.

I read yesterday that one of the two new Muslim congresswomen were sworn in on Thomas Jefferson’s copy of the Koran instead of the Bible. it just goes to show that NONE of these idiots know their history. Thomas Jefferson was the first President of the US to declare war and it was against the Muslim pirates of Tripoli. He was appalled by the Muslims and wanted to know more about their religion and so he had the Koran translated into English and he was even more appalled when he read it and he had it printed in English and encouraged his fellow Americans to read it so they would understand what Islam was. It was supposed to be a warning to be very cautious of Islam, not to glorify or condone its teachings.

Sen. Cruz, Rep. Rooney Introduce Constitutional Amendment Imposing Term Limits on Members of Congress

AMENDMENT LIMITS SENATORS TO TWO TERMS, REPRESENTATIVES TO THREE TERMS

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rep. Francis Rooney (R-Fla.) today introduced an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to impose term limits on members of Congress. The amendment would limit U.S. senators to two six-year terms and members of the U.S. House of Representatives to three two-year terms.

“For too long, members of Congress have abused their power and ignored the will of the American people,” Sen. Cruz said. “Term limits on members of Congress offer a solution to the brokenness we see in Washington, D.C. It is long past time for Congress to hold itself accountable. I urge my colleagues to submit this constitutional amendment to the states for speedy ratification.”

Francis Rooney stated, “The American people support term limits by an overwhelming margin. I believe that as lawmakers, we should follow the example of our founding fathers, Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who refused to consider public service as a career. Our history is replete with examples of leaders who served their country for a time and returned to private life, or who went on to serve in a different way.”

The amendment was cosponsored by Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), and David Perdue (R-Ga.).
