It just occurred to me that our PDJT’s treatment of the abusive MSM and legislators is the exact strategy that is recommended for breaking the cycle of domestic abuse. He is also extremely mindful of the situational optics, so that he can’t rightfully be accused of unwillingness to negotiate. (He was in his office ready to deal while the Dems were at the beach.) The key to dealing with domestic abuse is to cut off communication with the abuser. For instance, Sarah Sanders no longer has to put up with the press pool cretins. The Dems won’t even show up to negotiate re: the shutdown (their choice). PDJT has allowed them to paint themselves into a corner of non-communication. He’ll deliver SOTU in a calm, appreciative environment without disruption, protests and agitation. He has allowed them to create a situation wherein they look like fools regardless of what course of action or inaction they take. Best of all, he did it within time constraints (SOTU delivery) necessary to trim the federal workforce by RIFing selected non-essentials. Is he a master manipulator or what? Does this sound about right to y’all?

Animal Farm and 1984 are good books to own and be able to loan. Instead of borrowing them from the library, I think I will purchase them. I m also going to buy One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, another book that everyone should read before graduating high school.
