Yes, we have been hearing these noises. But they have been going on for perhaps a couple of weeks. Mu husband will be in the other room hearing them in the family room....I at the other end of the house won't hear them. Sometimes it sounds like a heavy animal on our roof too.

Cotton in our driveway checking out something green that fell from a tree
Corduroy thinking he can scale the wall of snow, LOL. It does feel like a rat in a maze walking around there in the winter. The only other option was snowshoes and even those sunk in if the snow wasn't frozen.
