Good point. I personally don’t think that someone that is emotionally stable will become emotionally addicted. Perhaps physically but then they should be able to get out of it easier than one that is using it to avoid reality.

Thought I would take this offline since there are perhaps some reading her posting that are currently making excuses for their loved ones

I’m a bit of a hard-ass about addiction, but that’s because I’ve been in AA for 26 years, had an extremely Dysfunctional Family, can have seen lots of people make excuses for their choices. It’s all a matter of making good decisions and letting God take control. Something everyone should do!

Sadly, a lot of these people are trying to commit suicide, slowly and perhaps not even realizing that’s what they are doing.

Well, since they’ve been telling us that her recover is on track and she’s fine, I’m taking next Monday, January 21st as her announcement that she’s packing it in.

I guess watching the left going nuts all over again is a good prize. Maybe they’ll get so lathered up that a few of them will break down as well.

Rob and I were discussing houses in our respective countries. He said the average size of houses in England was similar to the size of a tiny house we were looking at online, which I think was between 800 and 1000 square feet.

Well I got curious and looked up what the average size is here:

I like to get ammo like this for when people like to brag about how wonderful their socialized medicine is. This happens a lot with my family in Italy or even on a couple Facebook groups about various medical afflictions that I am on. It never fails that when someone in America asks about the price of a procedure, someone with “free medical has to talk about how wonderful it is.

They never see the hidden cost, high taxes, less disposable income, less economic opportunities, and a much lower standard of living.

My cousin in Italy will talk about her “free” education and “free” healthcare, and then in the same paragraph ask how it is that we can afford an entire house where she only has an apartment. Or how my husband could afford to retire early. Although there people retire early because they are forced out because there are no jobs for the younger Generations!
But she never sees the correlation. And doesn’t get it when I try to explain.
