The republicans need to get the message out that 5 billion out of the budget, though it sounds like a large amount of money, is the equivalent of $1 out of a $1000 budget. People will relate far better to what a small amount of money the dems are holding up.

Cut into another fruitcake for post breakfast. (The one made with apricot, pineapple and white raisins. ).
Dads 99 was the 11th. It was one of his favorites !
Roads slushee this morning. Just pickups and suvs with 4.4 going by Dogs are all back in! More logs on the fire.

Quick good morning.
Walked over to Pilot Gas plaza next door to motel do the ping and wish our NIKK a great day.
The little noting I posted earlier about the Oakridge boys took forever on my cell phone and it is down to next to no charge.. the charger is in van which is for now not accessible
Wanted to drive but my van was covered in ice and snow and the doors frozen shut front the ice yesterday that preceded the snow. We don’t have a lot - maybe 6 inches and it is cold..so won’t be melting. I hope to get out to do laundry later but that means a lot of ice scraping off windows as there wont be warmth to melt it. I did brush excess snow off with broom I keep in van for that reason
Im not going to do much browsing as I am standing in a kiosk of sorts.. not warm and uncomfortable.
