MKnoller....Friday at the WH. Pres Trump takes part in another roundtable to make his case for funding and building a border wall. Participants include state, local and community leaders. It'll be 21st day of the shutdown - ties for longest with '95-'96 stalemate under Pres Clinton.

Hannity interview the CBP Chief for the TX sector. That guy couldn’t be more appreciative of what Trump is doing. He said that he & all of his officers wee energized & grateful for Trump to come down to the border. Nobody had been down there for 5 years.
From the interview of Cruz & Cornyn, it seems the R Senators are sticking together to support POTUS. Maybe, just maybe, they have learned how to fight like Trump.
