Democrats now say the same fencing and barriers that were A-okay when President Obama was in the White House are now immoral because President Trump is the one making the request. This isnt how you make serious policy.
Gosh, I hope he didn’t make the A-okay sign with his hand because that is a racist dog whistle, dontchaknow?
Like he is going to tell the ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE what his plans are.
The lying LSM is totally pathetic.
Yes. Difficult to keep up today. Lots of important things happening here and there! ( and behind the scene)

Air Force One landed at McAllen International Airport in McAllen, Texas, at 12:38 p.m. Central time. The flight was smooth and uneventful.
Sarah Sanders came back for a few minutes at the end of the flight to go over the logistics of todays trip but there was no gaggle.
President Trump was accompanied on the flight by Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz, Secretary Nielsen, Mick Mulvaney, Jared Kushner, Bill Shine, Stephen Miller, Sarah Sanders, Dan Scavino, Lt. Gen. Semonite, head of Army Corps of Engineers, and Kevin McAleenan of CBP, among others.
Sanders said Pat Cipollone was not on board, despite some reports that the White House counsel would be on the trip.
More TK after Trump deplanes.

Trump and the other officials mingled on the tarmac for a few minutes.
Trump then climbed into his SUV and quickly then stepped out of the vehicle to greet a crowd of supporters on the tarmac positioned behind bike racks. The White House said these were 200 U.S. Customs & Border Protection Officers and Agents, Local Law Enforcement, and Families.
Trump autographed Trump caps, shook hands and posed for pictures. He said, repeatedly, Thank you very much, everybody! Some supporters could be heard yelling, Thank you for supporting our border patrol and Keep it up!
Secretary Nielsen also posed for photos with some uniformed border patrol officers.
We are rolling shortly for the first event, an immigration and border security roundtable.
Subject: Travel Pool Report No. 4
President Trump arrived at 1:08 pm central at the US Border Patrol McAllen Station for a roundtable event.
On the short drive from the airport, the motorcade passed scores of Trump supporters as well as protesters. A Trump baby blimp is flying across the street from the station. Some signs read Trump 2020, Build the Wall and No Wall, No Hate, and We are all immigrants and Our only crisis is Trumps failing presidency. (Thanks to eagle-eyed Co-pooler Mike Tackett and our generous wire colleagues.)
At the event, there are props in the center of the room, in the middle of the tables for leaders. They include an AR-15 rifle, colt handguns, a plastic bag full of cash, and black-taped bricks of heroin and meth. These are examples of things Border Patrol agents have seized.
Here is info from the White House on the roundtable event:

Subject: Travel Pool Report No. 11 depart border station
President Trump departed the McAllen Border Patrol Station at roughly 2:30 pm local. We are en route to the Rio Grande for his tour of the border, security briefing and interview with Sean Hannity, the Fox anchor and Trump friend.
As Trump pulled out of the station, there were scores of demonstrators both pro and anti wall and the Trump baby blimp was flying.

President Trump arrived at the banks of the Rio Grande in the Texas town of Mission at 2:45 pm local.
The motorcade route began through an industrial area of warehouses, which gave way to barren scrubland and vacant properties. The motorcade then crossed the levee, which is where the wall is proposed to be built, and through a small county park as vehicles wound along rough dirt roads toward the river.
Trump stepped out of his SUV and was greeted by border patrol agents who showed him their dirt bikes and four wheel ATVs.
Trump is positioned on a bluff and peered down at the river. A CBP helicopter then flew overhead as patrol agents looked down to salute the commander in chief. Trump saluted then back.
Trump then looked at a tank and inspected plastic covered sacks of what looked like contraband.
Trump paused to greet the press and said, thank you very much, everybody.
Sean Hannity has special access here. He huddled with Bill Shine and Secretary Nielsen and is following along on Trumps tour, only standing with the staff and federal officials as opposed to the press corps.
Subject: Travel Pool Report No. 13 Trump gaggle
Trump spoke briefly with the press and said they apprehended people from the Middle East
We need security. We need the kind of backup they want.
We need a barrier.
Never so many apprehensions ever in our history, but you know it could be a lot easier.
This is common sense. They need a barrier they need a wall. Without it, he said, there would be death.
Questions and answers with press:
We can declare a national emergency. We shouldnt have to because this is common sense.
This shouldnt be happening in our country.
Youll have crime in Iowas youll have crime in New Hampshire, youll have crime in New York. without a wall
If we had the barrier it wouldnt happen.
On Nancy and Chuck: Theyre not winning this argument. Theyre losing the argument badly.
Trump said he would like to look at a broader immigration deal. I would like to do a much broader form of immigration.
We could help the dreamers. I was ready to help the dreamers and then we got a decision.
We will have a deal with the dreamers.
Trump again said he would get Mexico to pay for the wall via the new trade deal through billions and billions of dollars
Asked about a timetable for declaring a national emergency he said he would see how it goes with Congress.
The same people that are holding it up have approved it many times before.
Trump said he wouldnt mind visiting the detention facility where children and parents were separated.
Trumps gaggle continues...
Asked how long the shutdown would last: I dont know. That I cant tell you. All I can tell you is I feel very badly for people whose family members were killed.
On DACA deal, he would do that simultaneously with wall discussion now. Likes the idea of broader immigration deal.
As for constructing wall under national emergency: Im prepared for anything.
On Cohen testimony:
Im not worried about it at all.
A caravan is forming right now in Honduras. Its supposed to be bigger than the other caravans.
On Davos, Trump said he would have liked to have gone but couldnt make it happen given the shutdown.
Will try to send some fuller quotes once I can listen to audio. But as always best to go for now off what you can see on TV.
Lt. Gen. Semonite, head of Army Corps of Engineers
Hopefully the Lt. General will say THE WALL IS BEING BUILT!
