It is nice to be getting something, but it is a catch 22. If Interest rates kept going up then the housing market would slow down and then the economy would slow down. President Trump was not happy with the rate they were going up. There were plans to increase them 3 more times this year, but I think he got them to slow down.

Unfortunately interest rates only have to go up because they were set at 0 for so long. Artificially. Anybody who went shopping knows that we did have inflation.

But yeah, I wouldn’t doubt that the Fed was Raising interest rates just to put a stop to his booming economy. They just need to go up slowly and reasonably. But a prime rate of 0 was crazy, people getting nothing in their bank accounts ended up losing money because prices really were going up.

I remember the big hoopla when he was addressing the “birther” issue. They all gathered to hear him say Obama was born in America, and he hijacked the presser with some vets (IIRC) singing his praises. I laughed - I think he mentioned briefly at the end of the presser that he’d accept the birth certificate. In truth, I think Trump still believe Hussein is Kenyan, as do I.

Hi a all ... back at hotel after a run to home to get a few things.Getting ready for Lucy’s burial tomorrow in Amish country about an hour and half south of here. She is starting to “get ripe”. this warm weather has facilitated ...... where is a nice cold spell when you want it?

I have wifi now at the hotel but not sure how long it will last. Hope to check FR mail and pings and catch up here while I have wifi. On my phone it is very difficult for me to navigate FR. Every time I go from one area to another I have to resign in and then only 20 posts per page and when I go to next page, I am signed out again. Crazy. FB is easy .

And speaking of phones.. for once my notebook is working/wifi and all and my phone is having issues. Issues of keeping charge. right now it is in van charging. My inside power cord doesn’t seem to be charging the phone at all. It is storming nicely now and I won’t be running out soon for phone. In the couple hours I was gone it was down to about 6%.

I really don’t use the phone like a phone much at all.. maybe e a few phone calls a month. Part of it is my hearing issues. I hate to keep asking people to repeat and often just catch about half of what they are trying to communicate.

Will watch the president at 9. Caught the next door neighbor at motel (the guy with the plastic on his window I had mentioned prior). I told him since I have been here I have only had the TV on twice .. but I wanted to watch the president tonight and the TV would be at highest setting (LOUD).. I told him it would not be a long speech.. etc. He was fine with all .. I think he goes to bed pretty early . his kids too as he leaves very early in AM for work. I promised to turn it off after the speech (might listen to NP and CS.. maybe)

Lots of mystery surrounding tonights topic and the 2 RAT clowns to follow him.

I guess I haven’t followed completely.. are VPOTUS and Sarah Carter at the border now? I thought POTUS was to go there Thursday. Keep ing tract of all is challenging isn’t it? some of you amaze me with your ability to remember and recall material
