Wow, he has been through an awful lot. So have you. I hope the prostate cancer is growing really slow. Are they going to do any additional tests and possibly radiation or something?

I imagine it normal for you to get very tired and depressed at times. You have a lot on your plate, plus have lost the life you were used to with your husband.

I know the only thing we can count on in life is that a changes. But I hate change! And it doesn’t seem to be for the better very often

The PSA test was not elevated real high and sometimes they can give a false positive. This doctor just said it "PROBABLY" means Prostrate Cancer. We chose not to have any other tests. I think that would mean a biopsy. Even if it did show cancer at 89 yrs of age radiation would be pretty hard on him. We have just decided to let things take their own course whatever that may be.

there are codes on boarding passes.....secret codes....its the kind of treatment you'll get when you fly.....they help determine everything from the kind of food you'll be served....whether you'll get AN EXTRA BAG SEARCH AT SECURITY...and WHERE YOU"LL SIT ON THE PLANE....Different airlines have different codes for each message.....

Could she be saying.....if you are secretly hiding papers..etc...and get caught...YOU'RE on your OWN?

Dad had problem with heart/ kidney/ and prostrate. They took him off prostrate medicine because it caused complications with the other two.

The slow growing prostrate cancer seldom kills before heart or kidney does (particularly if medications are given)
