Sort of like the Dems did every single time 0blama was trying to force his NON factual, economy killing rules/regs on us.

There is a reason they are meeting at Camp David and not in DC/WH. The shutdown is just cover.

I agree......and Jared with Pence yesterday...hmmm....I think Jared is most probably someone who can read people and faces. He hasn't gotten where he has without certain people skills. And he's a trusted family member for our President. President Trump has to keep a very small circle of family around.

I’d read, on another thread last night, that POTUS was going to sign an EO, today, for the mil to build the wall.

Have you seen/read/heard anything about this? I never received a confirmation (link) reply, from other thread.

I guess time will tell :-)

Jeffery....Remember when Schumer covered up the Clinton administration’s use of Posse Comitatus during the Waco siege of 1995? Would be quite ironic to use this Act to end his border crisis this time around.

Katrina.....At the time I was too ill informed to be aware of Posse Comitatus law. Clinton wasn't authorized to use military force in the multi-law enforcement siege on the Davidian compound.

Bill Clinton and Violation of the Posse Comitatus Act
“Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”

The Above is the Posse Comitatus act which prohibits the President or ANY governmetn official from using units if the U.S. Army or Air Force to enforce federal law.

In 1993, A.T.F launched an attack on the Branch Davidian compound at Mt. Carmel Texas, near Waco which resulted in a 51 day siege and subsequent deaths of over 80 United States Citizens.

Personally I do not care what reasons the A.T.F. had for attempting to serve warrants on the Branch Davidians, so long as they were valid and within the law. There is much dispute as to the exact reasons the A.T.F. attempted to serve these warrants or if the service of warrants was even attempted, that is not the point I raise. My point is that on the final assault on the Branch Davidian compound, U.S. Army personel were ordered, and participated in this assault which would be a clear violation of the Posse Commitus Act.

On April 19, 1993, U.S. Army Tank retrieval units, exactly like the one that assited in pulling down the statue of Saddam in Baghdad, rammed the side of the Branch Davidian Compound several times and in the ensuing attack, the Compound Housing the Branch Davidian Sect burned to the ground and 82 people, including 21 children died. According to sworn testimony, as many as 17 tanks, armored personnel carriers and tank retrieval units were procured from the 1st Cavalry, III Corps at Fort Hood Texas which were accompanied by at least 15, active duty Army personnel stationed at Ft. Hood under General Wesley Clark. Other testimony states that personnel from the U.S. Army Combat Applications Group, Special Operations Detachment-D, otherwise known as “Delta Force”, were in attendance at the final assault on the Mt. Carmel Compound. This is confirmed by articles published by the Dallas Morning News, St. Louis Post Dispatch, eyewitness account by media and law enforcement officials on site 19 April, 1993.

According to the “Danforth Commision”, appointed by President Bill Clinton, to investigate the Branch Davidian incident, all U.S. military personel on site were members of the Texas National Guard yet Texas Governor, Ann Richards, had at no time, activated the Texas National Guard which Governor Richards later confirmed.

Who procured these armored vehicles and active duty army personnel from Ft .Hood? Janet Reno was then, U.S. Attorney General but even as A.G., Reno had no jurisdiction to order Army units to do Anything. President Bill Clinton as Commander-in-Chief of the military was the only person in this country that had the jurisdiction to order army units into a civilian confrontation. Any evidence other than testimony from witnesses has been declared classified and sits in the Nation Archives in Washington D.C., IF it still exists! (what exactly DID Sandy Berger Steal from the national archives and destroy?).

One may reason that the Branch Davidians were law breakers and/or lunatics but that is not the point:

THAT is the point, yet 14 years have passed and Bill Clinton has not been charged or tried for clear violations of this act which was approved by the U.S. Congress.
