In 2011, in the midst of the chaotic but hopeful “Arab Spring,” a number of global and regional powers, including the United States, decided that now was the perfect time to destabilize the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Accordingly, the Obama Administration encouraged a popular rebellion, while denying the rebels the means to succeed in their revolt.

The result was a strategic and human nightmare. A civil conflict raged that wrecked the Syrian economy, obliterated cities, killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, and turned millions into desperate refugees. True, Assad is no angel, but the sufferings of the Syrian people since a host of outsiders, including the sage experts in the Obama White House, decided to “rescue” them have far outstripped any indignities that the Assad family could devise.

Chris Pratt, the stud in such movies as “Guardians of the Galaxy’’ and “Jurassic World,” who’s shined his Hollywood star on a slew of film and TV roles, has apparently broken from the pack of bland, pretty-boy actors — by farming the land, openly worshipping God and observing a brand of personal and political conservatism capable of making progressive heads explode.

How dare he! Perhaps more remarkable considering all of the above, in 2015, Pratt was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the annual Time 100 list.

And yet that didn’t stop Kaitlin Thomas from going after him in a snarky piece published by TV Guide last week as part of the magazine’s “12 Days of Chris-Mas’’ feature — a celebration of 12 dudes named Chris, including Chris Pine and Chris Tucker, even Ludacris. Pratt comes in fifth place, but only after a sound drubbing.

The piece — headlined, “How to Love Chris Pratt Without Hating Yourself: He’s Definitely the Most Divisive of the Chrises” — is so petty and mean-spirited, it could only have been intended to turn fans against its subject. This, even as the author asserts that “many people” — maybe in Tinseltown — share the author’s distaste for Pratt’s way of life.

President Trump issued an order Friday to freeze in 2019 federal employee salary rates, although a chance remains that workers will receive a raise.

Trump’s order was expected because he has advocated for a freeze all year. Due to Congress not making a decision regarding a raise, the move was made to prevent a pay increase from taking effect by default.

The order comes as some 800,000 federal employees, out of a workforce of 2.1 million, are in unpaid status due to the partial government shutdown that has lasted a week and is almost guaranteed to last a number of days more. Of those, about 380,000 have been furloughed, while the rest are still on the job without pay.

I have a letter from the Neuro-Pathologist that we hired to do a second autopsy on my Grandson Larry Paul, following his death from “unexplained causes.” or SIDS or SUDC (Sudden unexplained death of a child). He was 15 months old, therefor not technically SIDS but SUDC. (I don’t do graphics/pictures but I can email it to a FreeQer willing to help.)

Dr. Miller’s statement in the letter is telling. “I keep seeing cases like his, usually with short intervals between vaccination and death but unless the parents are willing to go through the process of filing a claim with the Vaccine Injury Program not much can be done about that.”

Our case is not viable due to the length of time that passed between vaccination and death. However I have referred another family whose child died within 2 days of vaccination and they hired Dr. Miller to do a 2nd autopsy. The parent of that child notified me that Dr. Miller has found “something” that tells him the death was vaccination related and that he is willing to serve as their expert witness in the case.

Following is something I wrote regarding our situation.

Depending upon the vaccine, most vaccine reactions take longer than a few minutes to develop. For example, brain inflammation reactions to pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine in the DPT or DTaP shots usually occur within 72 hours or a week of vaccination.
Larry Paul had an extreme crying episode within 4 days of receiving his DTaP shot. It was out of character for him and according to witnesses he cried inconsolably for over an hour. I believe this was when the injury to his brain occurred.
The autopsy done by Dr. Miller found that Larry Paul’s brain had fairly widespread mild gliosis. I asked Dr. Miller to clarify what this meant. He told me, “You are correct that gliosis is a form of scarring...it is the unique manner of scar formation that occurs in the brain and spinal cord. The finding of gliosis in Larry’s medulla means that parts of his medulla had been injured in some way at least 7 to 10 days prior to his death.” He goes on to state that it could have occurred weeks to months before his death. He concludes with, “You have asked me what could cause this type of “scarring”. It is highly non-specific, but chronic episodic lack of oxygen to the injured areas, because of “near-SIDS” that might never have been recognized, or because of subclinical seizures, or because of a viral illness which occurred in pregnancy or in infancy can all be potential causes of this kind of tissue reaction.” Let me add to that OR because of a VACCINE reaction.

Our greatest gift, our children and babies are being sacrificed for pharma profits. There is growing evidence that the primary cause of SIDS is vaccines. It is evil and I pray that President Trump will bring this to light.

Lawyers for accused Nxivm sex-slave cult leader and former “Smallville” star Allison Mack are arguing that she isn’t guilty of inducing forced labor if the Church of Scientology isn’t guilty of the same charge.

In court papers filed yesterday in Brooklyn Federal Court, Mack’s lawyers argued that Mack’s threat to release naked photos and disparaging statements made by cult members against their relatives doesn’t rise to the threat of “serious harm” required to prove someone engaged in forced labor.

Mack and Nxivm leader Keith Raniere are accused of using the photos and statements to get free work and to force sex with Raniere.

“The government argues that Ms. Mack obtained forced labor through ‘threats of serious harm.’ with serious harm being the embarrassment that would result from the exposure of one’s collateral,”the court filing said. “Courts have found, however, that such an outcome, albeit embarrassing, does not amount to serious harm under the statute.”

The argument cites a 2009 case in which a couple unsuccessfully sued the Church of Scientology for forced labor.

“The court did not find that plaintiffs were compelled to remain in the organization even though, if they chose to leave, they would be ‘excommunicated’ from their friends and family and labeled a ‘dissenter,’” Mack’s lawyers said. “The threat of reputational damage and isolation from loved ones therefore did not qualify as serious harm.”

Mack has been out on a $5 million bond since her spring arrest on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy. She was indicted along with Keith Raniere, the purported leader of a self-help program. Both face mandatory minimum sentences of 15 years to life in prison if convicted. (Read the indictment here.)

Here are the details of the wild case, as written by the Justice Department:

“According to court filings, during the past 20 years, Raniere established a series of purported self-help programs within his umbrella organization ‘Nxivm’ (pronounced NEX-i-um). Nxivm is based in Albany, New York and has operated centers in the United States, Mexico, Canada and South America. Nxivm maintains features of a pyramid scheme, as its courses cost thousands of dollars each and participants (’Nxians’) are encouraged to pay for additional classes and to recruit others to take classes in order to rise within the ranks of Nxivm. A number of Nxians were residents of the Eastern District of New York when they were recruited, and Nxivm has held promotional recruiting events in Brooklyn. Mack is credited in publicly available materials with co-creating a Nxivm program, called The Source, which recruited actors.

“As detailed in court filings, in 2015, Raniere created a secret society within Nxivm called ‘DOS,’ an acronym that stands for a Latin phrase that loosely translates to ‘Lord/Master of the Obedient Female Companions’ or ‘The Vow.’ DOS operated with levels of women ‘slaves’ headed by ‘masters.’ Slaves were expected to recruit slaves of their own (thus becoming masters themselves), who in turn owed service not only to their own masters but also to masters above them in the DOS pyramid. Raniere stood alone at the top of the pyramid. Other than Raniere, all members of DOS were women. Mack is one of the women in the first level of the pyramid immediately below Raniere.

“Mack and other DOS masters recruited DOS slaves by telling them that they were joining a women-only organization that would empower them and eradicate purported weaknesses that the Nxivm curriculum taught were common in women. Mack and other DOS masters concealed Raniere’s status at the top of the pyramid from new recruits.

“As a pre-condition to joining DOS, women were required to provide ‘collateral,’ which included highly damaging information about friends and family members, nude photographs and/or rights to the recruit’s assets. DOS slaves were told that their collateral could be released for any number of reasons, including telling anyone about DOS’s existence or leaving DOS. Many DOS slaves were branded on their pelvic areas using a cauterizing pen with a symbol which, unbeknownst to them, incorporated Raniere’s initials. During the branding ceremonies, slaves were required to be fully naked, and a master would order one slave to film the branding while the others restrained the slave being branded.

“According to court filings, Mack directly or implicitly required her slaves, including Jane Does 1 and 2, as identified in the Indictment, to engage in sexual activity with Raniere. In exchange for this, Mack received financial and other benefits from Raniere. Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 believed that if they did not participate in those activities with Raniere, their collateral would be released.”
