Q Ping - Merry Christmas to All

If you haven't read it yet, the following poem (h/t bitt and others) is a bittersweet reminder of the debt of gratitude we can never repay to those who serve our country with their lives.

‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE,
MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY,
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO,

I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,

AN AMERICAN SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO,
OF WHOM I’D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,
THE FLOOR FOR A BED?
I REALIZED THE FAMILIES,
THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS,
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.
SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE,
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.
THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM,
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.
I COULDN’T HELP WONDER,
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE,
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.
THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT,
A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES,
AND STARTED TO CRY.
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED,
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
“SANTA DON’T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON’T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS.”
THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN’T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL,
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED,
FROM THE COLD NIGHT’S CHILL.
I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE,
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR,
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, “CARRY ON SANTA,
IT’S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.”
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
“MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,
AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.”

To add to the number of those who put their lives on the line for our country, we naturally include the Q team, President Trump and those he loves.

I'm am grateful for those who fight for us. I count these people and my country and among my treasured God-given blessings this Christmas.

I count those who post and lurk on these threads among my blessings as well. I'm so impressed by the dedication, patriotism, intelligence and growth on this thread. You've proven you are willing to seek the truth no matter what is thrown in your path to deter you. When General Flynn spoke of "Digital Soldiers", you were included in their ranks. And you've shown President Trump, Q, and the military that the spirit of American patriotism is still strong and vital - that is your Christmas gift to them.

Given that so many have fought, some have given their lives, and so many continue to fight for our right to wish each other Merry Christmas, I didn't want to miss this chance to exercise that hard-won right.

With so many on our thread contending with illness and other life challenges, and the discordance of the society we are faced with, please pray for our country, our president, our military, our patriots, and for our FReeQs and FReepers - for victory, courage, faith, renewed strength, health, joy and peace.

May you all witness Amazing Grace again and again. Merry Christmas.

Feeling grateful and humbled that it’s Christmas Eve and POTUS tweets he is working on North Korea tonight. Mattis sent this letter to the troops. So humbly grateful for them and awed by their devotion. So many are sacrificing to MAGA! God bless us, every one.

All i know is that January is the ideal time for him to take whatever measures he deems necessary politically... no matter how mad it makes people it can be forgotten in 22 months. There must be a confrontation. The shutdown I think is it. I think that shutdown is going to be in place for a long time. Why? It starves the derpers.

Christmas-Washington crossing the Delaware.
Congress currently kept in town due to shutdown.
Congress back in session after Christmas, instead of back home or on vacations elsewhere-yep that’s not usual.

Exec. order takes place on Jan1. Congressional Session ends by law on Jan 3, if not recessed before then. At that time all the newly elected Critters will not yet be active. Their seats are considered vacant. Only the returning Critters are still active.

Taking up this business before swearing in the new or re-elected people like DIFISpyCHI, the pubbies would have a majority. I don’t think they would do this, but DEMS would if they needed to - Pubbies won’t.

All the DEMS need to do is to just say no till Jan 3 @ noon, and then the new critters are sworn in, unless arrests are made before then.

All bills not passed before Jan.3 deadline die. New bills must be passed. Pelosi would not allow the current house bill to be resurrected.

Jan. 9-I don’t recall-maybe the debt limit has to be raised?

Don’t expect the arrests right away. I think there is going to continue to be slow release drip drip drip to allow people to gradually become knowledgeable about the criminality. Too much at once= cognitive dissonance and violence rather than acceptance of a new reality. JMHO

Mattis Feb date no longer relevant. He’s gone now. Acting SecDef Shannahan-did not fare too well in his senate confirmation hearings. He also doesn’t have the military background from a soldier’s perspective.

He’s more of a business man, who has lots of involvement with the military industrial complex, if I understand his resume correctly. He didn’t have the cajoles to stand up to no name during questioning - I was not impressed, but will have to do more research.

I am really interested to see who will replace Mattis.
