The woman who volunteered to have her body frozen and 'milled' into 27,000 hair-thin slices
Daily Mail ^ | 13 Dec 2018 | MIA DE GRAAF

She wanted to be embalmed, sliced up and digitized for the purpose of teaching But she ended up living 15 years and in that time recorded herself so students understand the woman behind the medical records She regularly visited the lab to see how her body would be sawed up and photographed, the fridge where she'd be kept, and to meet the students

And she wanted to direct some of the process, asking the team to saw her body to the sound of classical music, surrounded by roses (they played Mozart's Requiem and painted some roses on the door).

>>I wanna have my brain plasticized, then placed in a giant clear acrylic block after I kick the bucket. That way it can preserve all of my neural connections for a time it can be scanned and a digital copy of myself can be instanced.

Facebook has $2,000,000,000 they can dedicate to that project. There are some personal secrets they haven’t yet mined.

Many rules, usually the remains, not preserved, are kept together and cremated.

When I get deli meat sliced I try to stretch my budget by asking that all of my slices be single sided only.

Your deli meat is cut into Mobius strips?

That must be a unique meat slicer!

Or someone cheats with meat glue?

Or you’d end up “living” with Dave Lister and a humanoid descended from his cat.

This is why I don’t have a facebook account, so it forces facebook to do that. Then something like this happens:

I’m good at annoying people in RL, so I’d do a good job being a Rimmer to someone’s Lister.

I would develop an appreciated for hot gespachio soup and Hammond organs!

I believe you can only receive a transplant from someone older than. you are. I received a cornea from some. unknown recipient when I was 60, so that cornea is older than I am. The rest of me is in perfect shape.

I’m very old and extremely healthy, take no prescription meds. My doc calls me a Super Ager.

I’ve decided to be an organ donor. Just think of the many lives I can save with my perfect kidneys, liver, heart, lungs, bone marrow, etc, older people who would otherwise die. AB negative blood, the universal donor.

Music for the hacking process? Not a bad idea. Frank Sinatra might do, or Leonard Cohen....

I think I would rather see the person cut into thin slices. I had to eat too much of crap like that when I was a kid.

You'll just end up blowing all of your quatloos betting on combat among passing starship crews.

What if those mad millennial scientists decided, as a joke, to take the digitalized you, BleachBit out your conservative and common sense sections, and replace those sections of you with various digitalized sections mined from the cranial depths of the socialist icon, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?
