The lower two pictures are probably correct. The Hill has the video of her speaking. Pence has a striped red tie, POTUS has a solid blue tie, Pelosi is wearing a gold necklace. Also, the table bouquet should be dark red.
I think they were self conscious about optics, particularly Schumer. In the “fake news” photos (top two), he’s relaxed with his legs crossed (nothing to fear). THe lower two show
show Schumer missing or sitting forward - less at ease.

FWIW, last August, (Or possibly late July) POTUS did a tweet using the “Smocking” misspell. I could not find it.
It launched me on my first Laurel Canyon dive via Steve Allen, who made famous the hysterically funny scream, “SMOCK SMOCK!!!”

“SMOCKING” for some reason made me think of early days of the Tonight Show, one of which’s early shapers was Steve Allen. (I’ve seen accounts where he is given credit and some where Jack Paar is given credit. I’m neutral on the point.)
Allen used to crack up my entire family sometimes when he would launch into a loony tirade, hollering, “SMOCK SMOCK SMOCK!!” We really would roll on the floor laughing!
I did a search looking for any significant or relevant ties that Trump might have had with Steve Allen. However, I did find a few things which potentially pointed to why Trump might be referring to Steve Allen or pointing at him through the “SMOCK!ing” reference......”

My 2 pesos: I believed that Soros funded the Caravan, which triggered the concern for "National Security" which justifies Trump's use of Defense funds to build the wall. Without the Soros funded Caravan, it would have been hard to justify using Defense funds to build the wall. :)
