My family is from rust-belt, snow-belt midwest.

My uncle was in California for part of WWII. He stayed, and married a girl whose family farm was in Anaheim/Huntington Beach area. My mom visited him and her sister-in-law several times in the 50’s and 60’s. She said she thought it was paradise on earth.

I watch an amazing video like this and wonder about the people we see, most are gone. I see the 2 girls crossing the street and one says something to another......I wonder what she said? I see the man waving....how did his life turn out? And finally, I am reminded of the words in the book of Ecclesiastes where Solomon says something like.....”The generation that hasn’t been born yet will be forgotten by the generations that come after it.”

Without God, it’s all meaningless, life is just a cycle.
