I sure hope you are right. However, the government’s may not allow them to be conservative, just like our pretend Republican Congress has more in common with the Democrats. And trying to deal with that massive debt, I’m not sure any country is going to have a way to deal with that other than to hyper inflate their currency. That sort of crushing burden might make them turn to some other means rather than conservatism, just as the German people turned to Hitler because of their debt from World War 1.

I’m not trying to b-real negative on a positive post! Just wondering how the next generation is going to deal with what they have inherited.

George H.W. Bush and his son George W. Bush did not vote for fellow Republican Donald Trump last year, says the author of a new book on the 41st and 43rd U.S. presidents in which they open up about their disapproval of the man now occupying the White House.

The elder Bush voted for Hillary Clinton, while his son voted for neither Trump nor his Democratic challenger, or “none of the above,” said Mark K. Updegrove, who wrote “The Last Republicans” with the cooperation of the two Bushes. HarperCollins will publish the book on Nov. 14.

In an interview with the New York Times, Updegrove said the elder Bush, 93, who served as president from 1989 to 1993, had an instinctive dislike of Trump though he did not know him personally.

In an interview during the 2016 presidential campaign, George H.W. Bush told the author that Trump was a “blowhard,” driven by “a certain ego” and lacking a commitment to public service.

Have said before GHWB was all about his control/power. After Reagan was shot he had more than he should have. He next was president. Had been friends and a mentor to WJC since early Arkansas days Was W’s brain and now he wanted Jeb to be his puppet. (If BO was a CYA plant, he may have been involved with that). IMO his hatred for Trump comes from his inability to control DJT either to protect himself or further his own adgenda May he Rest In Peace ;-)

I suspected Kellyanne was not happy at home long before knowing what a monster her husband is. Many times, she looks haggard, has dark circles under her eyes and appears to have been crying. Just something there. While it’s not Eric’s place or mine, she needs to dump him and take every dime he has.
