One reason the derps have taken over formerly red areas is that they know how to organize. We can laugh at the "community organizer" but we had to call the fool "president" for 8 yrs.
Not really directing this at you gen. But we as conservatives value our independence a little too much in the activism area. I have seen many individual conservatives at the Texas Capitol trying to make a difference alone on one issue. It's like one gnat at a picnic. Nobody pays it much mind and it gets squashed. But when people band together and arrive in an organized manner to participate legally in the discourse they get noticed! Even tho many of us may place more emphasis on this or that issue, the sheer number behind us gets attention.
As conservatives, we want our attention in a good way, not like the pink hat mob. We've been at this a few years in Texas. Our numbers are growing. And we've been complimented on our decorum while the rats have said our presence "scares them." Well, good. I want those dirtbags scared, running, hiding and out of my govt. Anyone reading this far please consider becoming active in your state. Remember the Free Republic of 20 years ago? We did a lot of this.

Hannity and a guest went on and on and on and on about some teacher who told a bunch of young kids (first grade?) that Santa wasn’t real. Then they kept on saying that Santa is real. Of course Santa is real. On and on and on.
The whole thing seemed very odd to me. As if they were trying to send some sort of message. Or else they had no story and were blathering on to fill up the air time.
FTR, I don’t believe in lying to kids except in extraordinary circumstances. But I definitely don’t think it is any of the teacher’s business to tell them this. It should be up to the parents.

87 yr old dad fading, 84 yr old mom, she’s to have knee replacement after Christmas. Not sure how the knee is going to affect long-term independence in their home. 2 acre lot, huge garden, flowers everywhere, Better Homes and Gardens kept home.

Back during the Sore Loserman debacle, a bunch of DC area FReepers would stand outside the VP residence as a counter protest to the (paid) pro-Gore protesters on the other side of the street. Laughing at them was VERY effective. (No, I wasn’t one of them. Can’t take any credit there. But I did get 1st hand reports.)

Good read, I hope this person goes to Heaven, really doubt it, and I know it isn’t smart and savvy to talk ill about the dead, but hold on when someone offs the ‘Toons’...that’s going to be heaven all by itself!!!
We are way past that phase. Flynn already pleaded guilty, so the Special Counsel doesn't have t explain anything to anyone about the crime, that's all settled.
Now it's just submit his recommendation for sentencing, and grade the General on how good a snitch he's been while cooperating with Mueller's witch hunters.
Manafort was a very, very bad snitch, and was apparently talking to Trump's lawyers the whole time he was pretending to help Mueller. Mueller is going to throw the book at him, but Manafort realized that (seeing as he's already been convicted of 8 counts of financial crimes before pleading out the rest) that his best bet is a Presidential Pardon at some point.
Papadopolous was a poor snitch, and had nothing to snitch about, and no imagination to make things up, and also was prosecuted for a nothing-burger of a crime. Mueller wanted him to get more time, but the judge said 14 days was enough.
Cohen has been an outstanding snitch, pleading guilty to things that are maybe not even crimes, and desperately trowing hooks at Trump to ensnare him. His lawyers have asked for zero days in jail. It will be most interesting to see what Mueller suggests in his sentencing report for Cohen.

Yeah, I do the food binges too and El Y is my current “thing.” Had company Saturday, fixed a pile of TexMex with black sauce snuck in the meat and beans, red sauce in the rice. Red, Green and Black on the buffet for personal use. No one wanted to try the sauce. “Habanero” scares them away I think. But they ate up the danged food ;)
