NASAs spacecraft that landed on Mars on Monday has beamed back its first clear photo of the desolate Red Planet.
Theres a quiet beauty here. Looking forward to exploring my new home, NASA tweeted late Monday, hours after its new InSight lander touched down.
The image came after the rover had earlier sent back a somewhat blurry photo. The space agency said that in the interim, the spacecraft had opened its solar panels, which allowed it to recharge its batteries for the mission.

What about the burned grass? The wife can’t have that. Why not just use pea gravel and make the lawn a rock garden?

Don’t forget checking the Martian termite traps
twice a year, and the cost of asteroid insurance.

They have to use descriptors like that so we’re all sufficiently wowed and no one asks what this boring science cost.

Are they still giving it the false red tint to make it look more mars-ish?

I just cracked the code.
When NASA says Mars is breathtaking, what they mean is, if you try to breath you will perish. Mars will literally take your breath away.

Yes. Once you take the reddish tint away, it’s so weird how it looks exactly like the Nevada desert.
Double weird!

Oh, I know we’re there on Mars. This thing happened, the moon landing happened, it all happens.
But even Richard Hoagland - Who is a top expert on space photography - has confirmed... They do tint the photos.
They tint them for public relations. And people like sheila jackson lee.

Considering your thin atmosphere, I believe the cost of asteroid insurance would be prohibitive.
I recommend our plasma canon with auto-loader and radar guided targeting option.
A mere $2 billion dollars with maintenance contract.

Billion dollar tinted photos of Mars and still no actual photographs of Earth from space.Even higher in the Martian sky, the Earth and Moon hang in space, as seen from Mars. The HiRISE camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter acquired this image at 5:20 a.m. MST on October 3rd, 2007, at a range of 142 million kilometers, while orbiting Mars.

NASA admitted last year it lost the technology to go back to the moon.
NASA admitted a few years ago that none of its images of the earth from space are real. All are photoshopped composites.
So how did they get to Mars with a camera?

But just for fun, is there a sequence of these photos from 2007?

First you say there are, "No actual photographs of Earth from space", then when showed one, ya want me to confirm for you the image is not fake?
Lemme ask ya, if we can land a spacecraft on another planet, why do ya think it would it be impossible to obtain an image of earth from space?
