I will get his recipe.
He also said he did not add the extra bags of chocolate and they were delicious.

My corn casserole was the talk of the gathering. It was cleaned out before the end of the day. And a niece washed the casserole dish before we left. So sweet how our family chips in to clean every year. Different people each year just start doing dishes and cleaning for our SIL who invites us every year. Someone had brought some Pop's wine so we decided to open and share it. Peabody I never knew the tradition... but Old Man Huber releases his special wine every year around Thanksgiving once its gone they don't make any more until next year. It was very good! My SIL had to call a neighbor and borrow their wine opener. The neighbor was thrilled to let us borrow her's because they aren't drinkers and they rarely use the opener. The sweet red wine was fantastic!!

Woodstock I had to adjust the ingredients in the casserole so just about everyone would try it. So I used.

1 can of whole corn
1 can of cream style corn
2 eggs
8 ounce of sour cream/mix with milk consistency until creamy
1 stick of butter
1 box of Jiffy corn bread mix
onion salt.....my replacement for onion/green peppers..many wouldn't eat these ingredients...lots of children
paprika /I shook more than a 1/4 tsp in
2 cups of grated sharp cheddar cheese.

NIKK...I really think the creamy sour cream drizzled over the top right before the grated cheese is a MUST! It was delicious!

Forgot about the shipping...I order so much from Chewy monthly that we exceed the $49 minimum. Reminds me to take leftover turkey to local shelter cats today...

I have tons of Black Friday horror stories...LOL One year a relative was dating a doctor and he wanted 8 TV's from Walmart. So we went to the store and stood in line before it opened. It was a challenge to walk through the store. Once we found the TV's (all women and one young girl) pushed all the TV's to the front of the store. Two of the women aren't even 5 foot tall....LOL As we were pushing the boxes a friend who was working that day came up and started telling us stories about the crowd. She was saying even one young girl was sound asleep on a cushy chair back by the lay-away area. We ALL looked at each other and realized our Tara wasn't with us. We went into panic mode.....the friend laughed and said she had it covered and would walk Tara up to us.

Oh, is it 49? I remember when it used to be 35. Yeah I wouldn’t have been close on the treats and it was only a one-day sale.

Otherwise chewy gets all my pet business. They are pretty awesome at getting the prescriptions from the vet and fulfilling the prescription food as well.

That’s wonderful that you are giving me shelter cats a treat. I never thought that they probably get bored with the same old food. I should get a bunch of treats for them also.

Oh man, we can’t ever win!

If you weren’t so nice - otherwise - this could be a real problem

Thanks for the recipe variation and the feedback about the sour cream. I was really curious about that. To me that seemed to be one of the main differences between the two recipe methods

Well, we have a black bear sighting in our area. This happened a few years ago. One man said he hit a bear.(not killing it) Now we are seeing pictures of a black bear walking around. We have thought they float up the Ohio River and land at our low area of the bend between Louisville and New Albany.

I have a 6'5" son with 14/15 size shoes....NOT buying on line isn't an option. I've had to shop on line for him since junior high. This year on the top of his list was a polo Green Bay Packers shirt he can wear to work. Found it at Penny's on line.

We have a niece who has a serious allergy to any nuts. So we don't bring anything with nuts to the gathering. We also watch the kitchen area as we cook. She doesn't eat much at any gathering but we are careful.

“Camphor 10% Menthol 16% Methyl Salicylate 50%”

Wow, those are the highest concentrations I have ever seen! Even if they were half that amount. And then that it has lavender oil in it, it sounds like great stuff.

Really good Criminal Justice Reform has a true shot at major bipartisan support. @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell and @senchuckschumer have a real chance to do something so badly needed in our country. Already past, with big vote, in House. Would be a major victory for ALL!

Republicans and Democrats MUST come together, finally, with a major Border Security package, which will include funding for the Wall. After 40 years of talk, it is finally time for action. Fix the Border, for once and for all, NOW!

Yes the turkey is something that can be difficult to get right. I’ve preferred the ham in recent years, but yesterday’s turkey was perfect.

Good leftovers later today!

Cheers

I finally finished hand-washing, cleaning and polishing the granite island, and now waiting for the second load in the dish washer to finish so I can put them away.

But, what have I done for Her lately??????!!!!
