I don’t understand why they would be sent home—lots of troops don’t go home for the holidays.

I wish the President would allow the National Guard troops at the border to go home permanently, and replace them with regular Army/Marines.

The whole use of NG troops in war/extended duty really skyrocketed with Papa Bush.

Thanks for the info. I checked comments on Amazon and they were almost all positive, especially those that were written long before Trump ran for President. I am going to buy a copy of The America We Deserve. It will be interesting to read what he published in 2000.
