I missed seeing him there, thought maybe he was still in school. But you’re right, anytime the media sees him they have something snarky to say so it’s just as well.

You are just the most self-sacrificing dear friend. Have another piece of pumpkin pie for hoosiermama so she won’t be sore from her fall.

And the only beneficiaries are the politicians and the illegals. Taxpayers can’t afford to live there.

My gosh he was arrogant, saying no matter how smart you are people will argue? Wow I would hate to be his wife or child. I think you handled it just right, being kind to everyone around just shows the difference between them and us.

Okay I’m trying to go through this logically. Which of course is not a liberal trait but I’m doing it anyway :-) if you pay everyone at Walmart double of what they make now. Are they going to actually work twice as fast? Actually what would happen is he would only have half the number of cashiers, because the store is not going to eat the extra cost. Or the price of products will go up. So the lines would either be twice as long or people would pay more.

I think about that when watching Gunsmoke. Wondering what they use for just about anything. How did they even take a bath often enough? There’s no way they could. They were just trying to survive. Got to hand it to our Hardy pioneers!

I really tried to keep my mouth shut but I go to Walmart and Meijer's to enjoy the nice people. At the last minute I decided Walmart. I ran into a sweet woman looking for ready made gravy. We looked together and parted with have a nice Thanksgiving. If the guy was in a hurry he should have check himself out. He looked over at the area several times. I refuse to use the self check but he would do others a big service to get out of line and go there.

“We just had our discussion of the sack dress and when I just now went to my facebook page what pops up in their side bar but a sack dress.”

Oh my gosh, big brother is everywhere. That’s pretty scary.

I find it bad enough when I’m looking for something on Amazon or walmart.com, and then I go to some website with ads and there those items are. But this is much worse, we were just chatting.

I think my Smart TV is spying on me. Kind of like how Winston’s TV watched his every move. (1984) but I think the TV does send back information about what we are watching. I believe I read that in the user’s manual when we got one. And I didn’t see a way to turn it off!

Which census was it where they asked all sorts of intrusive questions. Even how many miles you drove to work, things like that. Are those still being asked? I don’t think I have filled out a census form in quite some time.

When I was looking at genealogy trying to figure out my grandparents since I didn’t know much about them, a lot of the information came from the Census form. They pretty much just had birthdates and occupations and addresses.

You have a good eye for accessories, I could see her in tan boots and a nice belt, really making the gunny sack look good. Everyone would be wanting one.

That’s the way it should be, anyone here illegally should be in fear. Hence the term! When I grew up in El Paso the Vans would be driving around to pick them up. Chants of La Migra, whatever that meant, but send them all running for cover.

I mean if I was doing something illegal shouldn’t I be nervous about it?

Is that for real? Funny how Mexico and Mexicans are more self-protective about their country than the Liberals are here.

I did that on a ladder once.
Right after 9/11, was putting flag over the top of garage door.
Coming down I missed the last rung, fell down and rolled down the driveway into the gutter, nobody around, took me awhile to get up.
