Defending the unknown and the un-done and the what’s-to-come and When’s-it-coming, and it’s-late, and who’s-behind-it, is a fool’s errand. Who cares. Really. It’s the TRY in the spirit that matters.
We were probably many of us raised when Hollywood helped rouse a nation to war and there was only patriotic radio before many of us saw the day Dad delivered our first TV.
We know the power of Propaganda. It is useful and integral and good to inspire patriotism and it show cased the sacrifices of our parents, who were “in it”.
So, someone recognized that power and influence for good and turned it against us, our unity and patriotism. Should we be surprised? We failed to stop them then when we could and so now it’s hard. We’re all softened up, and don’t like “hard” any longer. We’re also older and we don’t like our limits, either. So, as we should, we pray for the younger and the stronger. Like Q.

I clicked and read article. Not to worry. Just fluff, he will consult with ethics blah blahs (who will tell him no need for any recusals!).
Just a vaccination against any attacks.
So far. I see it as a path of bait laid out. They don’t realize that there is a trap at the end of the bait path.
Trump is (a) not stupid and (b) not a eunuch beta soiboi, and (c) plays to win only. And has a long game.
If you see two guys robbing a store, but have cameras and tracking devices on everything they are doing, do you interrupt the robbery and arrest them? What if you know they work for someone else? How do you get evidence against the ones who paid them to do the job, the fences, and the customers who will all demonstrate they know fraud is being committed?
You let them finish the job. You let know make their payments, certify results, etc. Only after that is done do you take them down. This is not even about prosecution. It is about exposure, backlash, and a fundamental change in election laws.
You know it’s the Republicans J O B to always and everywhere lie down for their critics in the Media Complex. Look at Jeff Sessions. Now, our cousin, Whittaker. Governor Scott did squat for years, in the Governor’s office, to challenge Broward & Palm Beach Counties. Now, he is thought courageous.
It’s called the “Loser Party” behavior. (H/tip to freeper *Conservative someone, up thread.)
Do you think Eric Holder would have genuflected before his ethics staff, kept in the basement of the Justice Department? Lois Lerner? Brennan? Comey was his own ethics manager, and AG what’s-her-name, LL. She would more likely do a strip tease before calling down to some ethics paean.
