You walk into a grocery store and pick up eggs. No smartphone? No problem. You swipe your hand across a reader, and the amount is deducted from your bank account.
If that sounds far-fetched, you obviously havent been to Sweden recently, where thousands of people have reportedly had chips implanted in their bodies.
A company called Biohax has already installed around 4,000 chips in customers, inserted just below the thumb. They can use the implant to open secure doors, pay for tickets, and share emergency information with medical personnel. The chip is about the size of a Tylenol pill, and the procedure -- which costs $180 -- is similar to getting a tetanus shot.
"The chip implant is a secure way of ensuring that a person's digital identity is linked to their physical identity. It enables access management in a way that protects individual self-sovereignty and allows users to control the privacy of their online activity, Dr. Stewart Southey, the Chief Medical Officer at Biohax International, told Fox News.
Another doctor agrees that getting chipped is practical and even advantageous. As far back as 2014, experts have outlined a number of benefits, some medical and some consumer-based.
From a medical perspective, in the ER we have patients come in every day who are confused or comatose and we cannot get any medical history from them, says Dr. Larry Burchett, a medical expert and author who runs DoctorLarry.com. If we had access to that info because they have a chip in their skin, that could be lifesaving.
HOW AI FIGHTS THE WAR AGAINST FAKE NEWS
We implant many things now -- insulin pumps, pain pumps, birth control -- under the skin, he adds. There are risks of infection, but they are low. I don't think those risks are a big deal.

“Are You Ready For A Chip Implant?”
I do it...for my dogs.
“If that sounds far-fetched, you obviously havent been to Sweden recently, where thousands of people have reportedly had chips implanted in their bodies.”
Interesting they’re doing this in Sweden. I once heard a man talking about the end times, and he said he felt the ‘beast’ would be a huge computer and would be located in Sweden.
Fox has gone full Antichrist.
This is literally the only use I can see for chip implants. Bad, chronic conditions, like organ failure or epilepsy. Other than that, who's to say it can't be hacked?
You swipe your hand across a reader, and the amount is deducted from your bank account. And if you dont have that in your hand, then you may not buy or sell?
It is amazing how we are witnessing the precursor to the coming Mark of the Beast being created, marketed, praised, and lauded as "so convenient", "so secure", "so easy". Even as those behind this Satanic, one world, global "cashless society" are working night and day to gain C O N T R O L over, and ultimately enslave EVERYONE who "gets chipped".
Mark of the beast ain’t going on my arm.
I’m not a super theologian but I know the implant thing is very, very bad.
An alternative interpretation that respects the consistency throughout the Bible, and acknowledges the use of symbology in Revelation is: that the "mark" is actually how people are marked (Identified by) in real life by how they live their lives: their heart belief controls their mind and what they do with their hands. So it is not a device. It's just lost people being lost people.
Verse 7-8 gives you the hint that they are all of the same mind: the are lost.
Does your pastor believe that the consistency of the Bible concerning soteriology that deals with heart change will all of a sudden be flipped on its head in the last dispensation to one mechanical decision by sinful man (both believers and non believers) that will lead them to damnation? A serious theological question. No snark whatsoever.
An alternative interpretation that retains both the consistency throughout the Bible, and it takes into consideration the use of symbology throughout Revelation is: that the "mark" is actually how people in the later days are marked (Identified by) in real life by how they live their lives: their heart belief controls their mind and what they do with their hands.
Verse 7-8 gives you the hint that they are all of the same mind: they are lost.
Confessing Christians will not be allowed to partake in this economy. But that isn't entirely new. We've seen war being waged on Christians before. This one is world wide.
Not really into chips. But I’ll knock down a bag of cheddar jalapeno Cheetos in record time.
I had some with French onion dip and some RC cola.
If a bad guy cuts off your thumb does the chip still work?
Might not be so bad. Pretty soon they’ll be taking a picture of us whenever we do anything or go anywhere.
Something like this technology has been in use for quite a while, for rounding up cattle.
Sweet album. Eddie rocks!
I believe I once heard something to the point, namely that the common bar code system was said to have a small number of data centers, even just ultimately one, and that one had been nicknames the Beast.
At the very same time we see what looks like Romans 1:18-32 happening in folks all around us, general apostasy spreading, and Islam too.
Yeah, Revelation and current events sure seem like they’ll be concurrent pretty soon.
