Pink Floyd - Time
Rammstein - Engel
(ok, that was not easy choosing just one from either of these two)

You ALL missed it. Light My Fire by the Doors. The zany Ray Manzarek organ solo has GOT to be the most unique and amazing intro in the history of rock!!!! It defined the song in a way that no others did!

Mean Streets by Van Halen. A dark guitar solo by Edward VH that sets an angry mood that is felt throughout the rest of an outstanding album.
Gotta agree with everyone else on Gimme Shelter. That is a great intro.

I was at a stereo studio back in the late 80's, maybe 90.
The salesperson put Money For Nothing on.
All I remember was that he had a Denon CD player and a pair of Klipsch Corner Horns.
I was sitting about 10 feet in front, with the hair on my arms raised.
Felt every beat of the drums in my chest.

"Baby Please Don't Go" - as done by Them and by the Amboy Dukes. (Aerosmith version is a muddle)
And we're 150+ posts in here and I don't think anyone's mentioned "Kick Out The Jams". Shame on y'all.
