16 second video tells the truth!
Exercising the the Guitar/Bass ping list.
I watch some of Danny’s videos, he can solo well and plays some nice riff and groove ideas.
You can tune a piano, but you can’t tuna fish.
Did you hear the one about the guy on safari, who when travelling through the jungle hears some fierce drumming coming from a distance?
The explorer exclaims, “Wow! Those drums! Are they angry?”
“No! Drums good — when drums stop, big trouble!”, replies the guide.
For 3 days and nights they hike, and the drumming never stops.
The explorer asks, “How long can this go on? I need a break, I can’t get any rest!”
Just then the drumming stops. The explorer says, “finally, I can hear myself think.”
“OHHHH NO!”, screams the guide.
“what happens now?”, asks the explorer.
“Bass solo!!!”
Good comments at YT:
Maybe they weren't in the moooood to hear that. They're afraid of the music? What cow-wards!
Jazz for cows
Funny!
I’ve played bass since 1998. I’ve been in 14 bands. I really love it. Soloing all the time.
But as a bass player I HATE playing bluegrass. Boring. And if you get even a little fancy the rest of the band complains.
Is there something like this to deter illegal mobs?
Reminds me of the story of the couple who were seeking marriage counseling. During each of the first three sessions, they remained totally silent, speaking nary a word. The therapist, totally frustrated by their refusal to talk, told them that next week, he would try something different to spark a conversation, and if that failed, then he was dismissing them.
The following week, when they entered his office, they were confronted with a bass player, playing a solo.
Smart man once said...”You can tune a piano but you can’t tuna fish.”
The next one was Serenading my cow with a trombone.

Guitar/bass ping list if you are interested
Thanks RB
In my youth a friend and I took our guitars, sat on some stumps just inside a wood line at the top of a pasture.
Within 5 minutes of playing there were 20 cows surrounding us and one trying to eat our shoe laces. Quite amusing then and now when I think about it.
We used to get the coyotes going playing acoustics. Worked every time ..
try this the next time they complain about bass playing in the bluegrass group
