Did you hear the one about the guy on safari, who when travelling through the jungle hears some fierce drumming coming from a distance?
The explorer exclaims, “Wow! Those drums! Are they angry?”
“No! Drums good — when drums stop, big trouble!”, replies the guide.
For 3 days and nights they hike, and the drumming never stops.
The explorer asks, “How long can this go on? I need a break, I can’t get any rest!”
Just then the drumming stops. The explorer says, “finally, I can hear myself think.”
“OHHHH NO!”, screams the guide.
“what happens now?”, asks the explorer.
“Bass solo!!!”
Reminds me of the story of the couple who were seeking marriage counseling. During each of the first three sessions, they remained totally silent, speaking nary a word. The therapist, totally frustrated by their refusal to talk, told them that next week, he would try something different to spark a conversation, and if that failed, then he was dismissing them.
The following week, when they entered his office, they were confronted with a bass player, playing a solo.
