Hello Freepers....!
....LOTS of threads about the mass of illegal immigrants headed our way...as of this morning the numbers are estimated at between 5,000 to 10,000 men women and children. We can assume that this number will grow.
Now, we can also assume that Mexico is not going to be of much help here...and will leave this event for the United States to 'clean up'.
So, they are coming....they will soon be at the boarder...and they will not just 'stop' voluntarily....
What CAN be done to keep this from becoming a nightmare scenario??
Please be civil...and make your thoughts known.
Please no (shoot them all)....(burn them all)...regardless of how you 'feel' try and come up with a WORKABLE solution.
Do not be intellectually lazy... like saying (.....dude...I would put the military at the boarder and just stop them....)
...ok, how? Shoot them....? Yell at them to stop?....Arrest 10,0000 people? ....and put them where? For how long?
Perhaps we can brainstorm together and offer some real solutions .....
Lets make this a thread that offers real possible answers

Call them a “mob”. That will drive them insane. They will then run amok in Mexico and get themselves arrested.

I would tell Mexico that they are their problem. I would militarize the border and shoot any who come over. I expect that less than 100 would die and the border would be respected. I would not provide medical care for the shot victims, but would load them up and give them to Mexico.
If one doesn’t mean business, then one’s boundaries are not respected, whether one is a country or an individual.
Would I do this before the election? No. Before the election, I would tear gas them. All of them.
It’s difficult to move a military force, with up to date equipment, such a distance with any amount of coordination and consistency, is quite difficult.
How does a ragtag group of this size actually stay together for such a distance? And at this rate they will reach the border way after the election, reducing any impact here.

Absent the threat of deadly force, there IS no workable solution. An organized movement can overwhelm any LEO's through sheer numbers. And even non-lethal methods would be portrayed as racist brutality toward the "peaceful" migrants.
Unless our officials are willing to accept that these mobs offer the same threat level as a military invasion, all efforts to deter them will fail.
IMO.
The problem is that the 98% of military/gang-aged males will put the few women and children in the front ranks when the reach our boarder, per arrangements with the Democrats and the MSM.
They will hope that the US will either open the boarder to them or shoot them and create a media event.

When people ask me about the Mexican illegal aliens, I just say that I am uncomfortable with being complicit with the Mexican ethnic cleansing by elite and wealthy Mexicans against their indigenous population. That certainly changes the conversation! There is the ultimate elite Euro-Mexican who have been ethnically cleansing his country and enriching his peers with American money and drug dollars.
I’ll let Trump and his advisors work on the government reaction.
I’d like to see a conservative PAC/candidate/etc send a lot of buses to the border
* “Destination signs” have swing districts across the country
* Side of bus lists dead people and people who no longer live in the districts but are still registered to vote.
* Hand out id cards of the invalidly registered “voters” with a generic picture and text “your face here”. Have a camera booth to generate a realistic ID for anyone who wants to try it. Tell people to find the bus which has the name matching their new ID card.
* Watch liberal heads explode.

Put the squeeze on Mexico, depriving the Left of propaganda photo-ops. If they were motivated, they could end this quickly, and do so non-violently. They could halt and impound the buses that are transporting these thousands of people. They could arrest the caravan leaders, then arrest those who stand to replace them. Repeat as necessary. Then reroute the no-longer-organized followers southward.
