Clearly mark the border. Establish firing points 1200 meters inside our border. Open fire at 1,000 meters. Keep shooting them until they flee out of range.
They do not, actually, believe the US is serious about defending ourselves. How many will we have to kill? As many as it take to convince them that our intentions are serious.
Anything short of massive, overwhelming violence is a bean fart in a tornado.
