It really is hard to understand why some of these FReepers have taken this Q movement so personally.

I got some theories, wanna hear about 'em? Here it go. (Anti-Q people please don't listen. This is among us).

There is a large element that has been totally indoctrinated by the derp state over decades, fact most if not all of their lives. Since the 60s/JFK, when the CIA perverted the term "conspiracy theory" and turned it into a tool of suppression.

How do I know this? Because I'm self-aware enough to know that I was once indoctrinated in that way. I was under the spell of that indoctrination.

I believed that if enough people, or the right people, called something a "conspiracy theory" or laughed at people spouting them, then self preservation, peer pressure, and fear convinced me to agree that, yes, it's not real.

(scroll upthread for further information on the subject of my current capacity for fear, lest you worry).

Are there kooks and fakery? Of course. But what's so hard to believe about a group of military men being close to a President and together using an unconventional communication system and new technology to get the people's support. I don't see how that is whackadoo on it's face, as some do.

This "conspiracy theory" program has successfully allowed MANY bad things to take place in this country and the entire world, to the point that America has ALMOST been captured and turned into Not-America. We are partially lost, but not yet. We awaken. Well, some of us. But more and more every single day.

Again, are there true "conspiracy theories" that ARE fake? Of course. But what percentage of those things that are called that are not that? You decide. You are awake now.

Another part of the problem is that, as a group, we FReepers have gotten our hopes up and trusted "inside sources" to provide inside information, only to have been disappointed over and over again throughout our lives. We have watched helplessy as the damage to our society festered and grew, despite our best efforts. We struggled on, waiting for someone, anyone to step forward and do something.

Some have lost hope. You can see it on the main forum. Nothing is good enough. Everybody is a failure. They're all the same. Lucy and the football. Sleepy Sessions, blah, blah blah.

Hope lost is hard to rekindle. It takes the heart of a champion, and the older one becomes, the harder it is to stand if you've knelt or been beaten down too long.

I have an ability to understand people. Call it a gift. Hahaha. Just kidding. Or am I?

But I have been watching the antis just as they've been watching us. I am capable of learning.

All of the above exists within the population of our brothers and sisters. Parts of all that exists within me and probably within all of you, if you would admit it. So we can understand them. But they don't seem to understand us, and that right there is puzzling to me.

Or maybe it's just hard for the hopeless to watch those with hope. There must be some psychology to explain that to me. I was only trained in the University of Life and don't have all the words. (that was a poke at Jocko. Jocko knows hahaha).

Those against me, do not trouble me. They do not anger me. I do not DISLIKE them. They are my people. How can I DISLIKE my own people? I know I ain't nobody and I don't really do nothin', but what I do, I do for them. For all of them. Even for the sorry Antifa punks in the street fighting against us and everything we stand for.

I want to see an America reborn and as it should be and was meant to be. For EVERYBODY. It breaks my heart to see brother turn against brother even in an internet forum such as this. We have everything in common with them all (well, maybe not ALL), but a more like-minded group of people you will not find. We all came here for a reason.

I want nothing more than to unite all FReepers as one and work together to save this country. I am under the impression that is what we're doing here. I may be what they call me, a fool, a kook, retarded, etc. You know the names they call us. But I'll say this. I fear no judgement or insult from any man. If I think the Emperor has no clothes, I will tell him.

I recommend a bit more of that attitude for everybody. That's America. THAT's who we are, as somebody is fond of saying.

Anyway. I've had that rant building all day. I'm glad I waited, though.

At the risk of sounding like a gay, I want to say that, as one countryman to another, I love you all. And I want to thank you for what you all are doing. Each and every one of you, no matter how much or little you contribute. Thank you for at least trying to make this world a better place for my children and grandchildren-to-be to live in.

I am very proud to know you all and I am a better man for it. I feel you are my tribe, though I've not met ne'er one of you. Even you FReepers who hate me (I know you're out there).

Okay, that escalated quickly. And got kinda gay at the end. At least I didn't kill a guy with a trident.

#NoHomo

Promise.

I will offer this: When we’re talking about deep-set beliefs, we’re not really talking about logic. Logic can derive “Truth” out of other things we already know to be true, but cannot set the foundation layer of knowledge.

So changing deep-set ideas is a process of getting new ideas past a crusty outer shell of psychological defense mechanisms.

The standard ways of setting the deep beliefs are parents in early childhood, direct personal observation (the stuff of science) and spiritual sight.

But Q is neither a parent nor a spiritual counselor. So Q adopted the Socratic mechanism of asking questions and letting our own minds find their way.

This works, given time, but not on everybody. I think a certain intense curiosity, a desire to peek behind the curtain, is an important ingredient.

Then there is the factor of time.

Some of those who are not convinced immediately will come around later, as if by osmosis. Lots of them, in fact, if Q is proven right about Sessions et al. running a giant trap on the swamp critters.

Then they’ll say they knew it all along.

What a great post! It IS all about tribe. We all want to find that place with our tribe where we feel safe and accepted. For me, this is that place where I can let my mind go wandering

Where it will go

And it really doesn't matter if

I'm wrong I'm right

Where I belong I'm right

Where I belong.

I kinda think I belong here...with you all. I'm sure I don't belong "out there" as I have an aversion to closed minds and fuddy dudds!

And...this is the part where Dean Winchester, dressed as Braveheart, gives his rousing speech and he and his merry band of patriots charge the English, right? I can so see you doing that!!

Interesting take on conspiracy theories, bagster.

Here's how I decided not to listen to the term "conspiracy theory" anymore.

Remember Monica Lewinsky?

When Hillary was first confronted by the MSM about Monica, Hillary went off on a rant about a "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy" against herself and Bubba.

This told me two things:

1) Hillary was a bald-faced liar. And a nutcase.

A woman confronted with evidence of her husband cheating doesn't break out into a prepared speech about conspiracy theories. She grabs a rolling pin or a meat cleaver.

But also, since I saw how ineffectual the GOP had been (even back then, how Bush '41 said "Read my lips no new taxes" then caved; then declined to run against Clinton, saying "...wouldn't be...prudent"...I *knew* there couldn't be any vast right-wing conspiracy.

2) And then, with that knowledge, that very phrase "RIGHT-wing"...it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Liberals ALWAYS accuse you of what their side is doing.

THERE MUST REALLY *BE* A VAST LEFT-WING CONSPIRACY!

Now, the objection to THAT, is, it's absurd, it would have leaked by now. Because people take their ideas of a conspiracy from something out of a Sherlock Holmes novel, or a James Bond movie: a group of 20-or-so people each known by a code number, around a large conference table, with a Dear Leader calling on them one at a time as they infallibly foment and carry out Evil Grand DesignsTM.

Well, no, not really. What happens is that not all of the plots are drawn out in detail in advance. Rather, a directive is given, and a couple of *strategies* formulated, with considerable leeway as to time, flexibility, and implementation. (E.g. take down the Catholic Church by attacking it from without, and seeding liberals and homosexuals into the hierarchy: they'll take it from there.)

And all it takes is one or two people in key pressure points in an organization, to cause all kinds of mischief: making exceptions for DOZENS of troublemakers who otherwise would be called to account and stopped.

So the thing is, the left is constantly launching little *probing* attacks: some are stopped, some backfire, some fizzle: and the ones which look promising are expanded, given more funding, and promoted on TV and other media (see Limbaugh's "journalistic fronts"). This gives the impression of a relentless juggernaut, since only the successes are announced: the minor failures are never seen or heard by most people...

Q is simply about 7 military intelligence folks, plus a few civilians, under President Trump, using the left's own tactics (with a little help from the NSA to supply information about their foes in real time...

I don't want to take away from the other most excellent points in your post, but this one is a pet peeve of mine. The President said on numerous occasions he would use OTHER METHODS besides the MSM to communicate with the people. Everyone thought Social Media was it. Those platforms are only a part of it. No one expected the rallies to continue. No one expected the open press conferences with no warning. No one expected a weekly video address to the nation (which NO ONE, not even FOX, covers). Why is it so hard to accept Q among all of the other DJT unorthodoxed methods? Why is it so hard to accept that DJT has PROTECTED himself from the Deep State by being surrounded by patriot military men? I just don't get it.

Seriously, not too bad a rant.

Misery loves company. Crabs in a pot.

In shrinkspeak:

Sadness serves an adaptive function by motivating people to reach out to others and preferentially attend to information related to one’s current level of social connectedness.

Discontented people in a happy place may feel particularly harshly treated by life. To alleviate that feeling, they feel the need to decrease the level of happiness around them.
