Puzzles9 shared a brain teaser with three pentagons, each with a set of five numbers.
The middle pentagon is missing a number.
To fill in the missing number, you must figure out the relationship between the numbers in the pentagons and continue the sequence.

The numbers in the pentagons add up to 20 for A and C. So 0 would make B add to 20. See reply #5, and you're on list too.
Actually, very good!

Offhand, without any analysis, I’d say 8

I’m bored. Got more puzzles?

These kinds of problem have multiple possible answers because there are multiple patterns, but I will go with a -10 in this case.
The numbers in the first pentagram add up to 20 and in the third pentagram add up to 20. The numbers in the second pentagram add up to 30, so to bring the 3 pentagrams into alignment (if that is perhaps the goal), the missing number must be -10.

In my electromagnetic fields class, if the professor asked the class for an answer to a problem and more than one answer was asked, she would get a disgusted look on her face and write each answer down on the blackboard.
Then when she had them all down, she would say “OK, let’s vote.”

-10. Then each pentagon adds to 20.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
LOL, senior momentGot to confess, I did the same thing at first, but I double-checked and it didn't work. That showed me the -10.

Actually it would make B add to 30, but your answer is valid.
