At 1418 this afternoon, I did not receive the presidential test alert. I'm a little worried. I know several people that received it, no problem, same area code, same town, but not me. What did I do? Was it a technical glitch? My phone was on, I waited purposefully to see the screen that says I got it. But I didn't get it. So what now? Do I contact my senator and complain, maybe it was something I did in my past, maybe it was a phone conversation that was previously recorded by the NSA, I just don't know what to think of it!
I'm worried. What if there was a thermonuclear launch and I'm putzing around my yard whistling a Happy tune. My phone doesn't alert me to Run for Cover and suddenly without warning, it's 100 million degrees Celsius before I realize what's even happening. Can you imagine getting stuck in a situation such as that? I want to talk to the president, I think he needs to hear my concerns. Maybe I'll send off a quick online email to my senator, who is the Republican, he would understand.
By the way, it is now 1515 local time and still no test has arrived on my Android. I could be Dust in the Wind at this point in time had it been an actual Thermonuclear launch and alert. I don't even know if I could get to sleep tonight over this. I have a safe place in my garage that I occupy when there are tornadoes imminent. Maybe I should go in there... I just recently bombed it for insect infestation so it should be pretty clean... I need some soup, some chicken soup, and warm homemade bread like Mama used to make. but first I have to go putz around the yard it is finally dry enough to mow and maybe my mowing will take me to "that other place where men go" when mowing.

I am verizon- I got the call-maybe the nonreceivers had emergency notifications turned OFF in the settings.. OR YOU ARE ALL GONNA DIE !!!JUST KIDDING.
You have to be on the list. Kidding. I received it, but my wife did not.
Not sure about the spouse or home devices.
I didn’t get a freak out call about the Donald being a power hungry, narcissistic, and the rest from my wife either.
Whistling while putzing around in the yard are proven distractions that will prevent you from hearing the alert on the phone that's sitting in the house on the kitchen counter top. But don't fret, you'll soon see the follow up flash........
If you go to the thread that must not be named and the latest post is there, I received exactly what is pictured on my iphone. It was in a little grey window with words in it. I call that a text. If you are telling me it wasn’t truly a text by transmission that is one thing. But if it looks like a duck, reads like a duck ....... it’s a duck!
As though theres time for “emergencies” between the hysterical warnings of storms that never appear.

Mine looked nothing like the text examples Im seeing. Red frame, various sized fonts, white background with red letters. It reminded me of a top secret cover sheet. Seriously.
