The reason I don’t like this meme is because that marine is getting public exposure he doesn’t deserve. Other politicians in a meme don’t bother me. They’re public figures. But this meme explicitly gives an anonymous soldier a POV that he might not want and might not be good for his military career, if he’s career military. Yet the text is quite clever.

Because the numbers near each arrow represented distances or perhaps stops, and the chart was neither a true scale, nor a representational map, but rather an informational flow chart.

The 1 to 4 to 5 is ten units travel long, while. the other was only 8 units travel and was the therefore the shortest distance.
