It’s a pia to deal with claustrophobia and anxiety, which I experience in the worst way when it comes to flying. It’s part of why I’m infuriated listening to her yammer about not wanting to fly yet goes all over to enjoy vacation. She’s full of crap, I haven’t been on a plane in decades. There is nothing I’d enjoy more than returning to Italy with my kids but my anxiety can’t handle it.

That’s very sweet, but sadly my anxiety is central to feeling trapped. The non flying is not in anyway related to fear but rather the trapped/claustrophobic sensation. So, though I haven’t tried, I’m of the belief that the claustrophobia would be intense...sigh

She used Whats App, which is encrypted. It used to be safe, until it was bought by Facebook. The spooks can’t allow the people to talk without them knowing what is said.
So did she use it prior to FB buying it? Or have they told her it can still be read?
I can understand her POV. I flew to some Star Trek conventions, but would NEVER fly for work. My theory was that they didn’t pay combat pay. So they sent me coast to coast 3-4x per year for a decade by train. Since I retired, I’ve never been on a plane, and doubt I ever will be.
She used it a few weeks ago. WhatsApp was bought a couple years ago. It is supposed to be still safe, but since Facebook bought it, I have to assume that the spooks wanted to gain access to it.
So she’s been flying everywhere...not so afraid of flying I guess after all....

Sundance isn’t a prophet. None of the people commenting on D.C. antics profess to be prophets. It’s quite natural to agree or disagree with parts of someone’s opinions. Only those who hold themselves up as prophets have the added expectation/burden of never being wrong in order to maintain their standing.
