Thats very sweet, but sadly my anxiety is central to feeling trapped. The non flying is not in anyway related to fear but rather the trapped/claustrophobic sensation. So, though I havent tried, Im of the belief that the claustrophobia would be intense...sigh

You might visit a cruise line ship when it's in port. You might be surprised at how spacious they are and it could help alleviate any anxiety knowing you wouldn't be 'trapped' there for an extended period of time.
Acclimatization, as it were.

I went on a couple of ocean liners when I was a kid. Biggish cabins, hallways to walk around, open deck areas, etc. Loved it when I was a kid.
I hate planes and cannot stand to be confined in small spaces. I’ve actually researched travel by ship, there are freighters who take passengers.
