polygraphs are not accurate enough to be used in a “legal” setting such as this.

Polygraph tests are so inaccurate that they aren't even admissible in court.

No. Schedule the confirmation vote for tomorrow and be done with it.

If accusation is false - It doesn’t matter
If accusation is true - It doesn’t matter
If accusation is unprovable - It doesn’t matter
Why is it necessary to prove the truth of something that does not matter?

You need to watch some true crime stories. I’m amazed at the low-IQ dolts who manage to easily pass polygraphs and then turn up to be the killer, rapist, whatever. Also, sociopaths can sail through a polygraph.

Forget the polygraph. Bring in three professional interrogators.
I have a friend who is a retired Marine CID agent. He told me about some of the techniques they used.
Kinesic Interrogation was one technique. He said they would watch interviews on TV with the sound off and using visual non-verbal cues be able to pinpoint lies every time.

I’d love to see it, but polygraphs can be inaccurate. For example, the Green River killer is one of the worst serial killers in history and PASSED his polygraph. I’ve also seen true crime shows wherein people who were innocent failed the polygraph.

Tell her it’s too late she should have shat 30 years ago but she got off the pot.
Tell her we don’t ruin peoples lives or jobs based on lack of evidence.
Tell Feinstein, too late nice tr. What did you hang onto the letter till now.
Tell flake if he votes wrong he will regret it for 50 years after he dies.

She has already passed a polygraph test, but hell, I can pass a polygraph while BSing, and I can FAIL a polygraph while telling the truth.
It is dependent upon two things - wording of the questions and how the person taking the test handles stress.
It’s like those who are very smart people who have great book knowledge, that fail or barely pass tests written, timed tests. They just SUCK at test taking...it doesn’t mean they are stupid.
That is one of the reasons polygraphs are not allowed in courts of law.

I disagree completely. That is not the bigger issue here. The real issue is that no one of any political stripe should be disqualified from serving a high office due to a misdeed decades ago in high school. PERIOD. No need to put any decent adult with a good adult life record on TRIAL for one wrong move in childhood.

Polygraph tests cannot be administered in such a public highly-charged setting. There would be no way to establish a "normal" baseline from which to detect deviations.

The last thing you want to to is legitimize poligraphs. Innocent people can be found “lying” and guilty can be found “telling the truth”. Useless.
