XKeyscore (XKEYSCORE or XKS) is a formerly secret computer system first used by the United States National Security Agency for searching and analyzing global Internet data, which it collects on a daily basis. The program has been shared with other spy agencies including the Australian Signals Directorate, Canada’s Communications Security Establishment, New Zealand’s Government Communications Security Bureau, Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters, Japan’s Defense Intelligence Headquarters and the German Bundesnachrichtendienst.

The program’s purpose was publicly revealed in July 2013, by Edward Snowden in The Sydney Morning Herald and O Globo newspapers. The code name was already public knowledge because it is mentioned in earlier articles, and like many other code names can also be seen in job postings, and in the online resumes of employees.

XKeyscore is a complicated system, and various authors have different interpretations of its actual capabilities. Edward Snowden and Glenn Greenwald explained XKeyscore as being a system which enables almost unlimited surveillance of anyone anywhere in the world, while the NSA has said that usage of the system is limited and restricted.

According to The Washington Post and national security reporter Marc Ambinder, XKeyscore is an NSA data-retrieval system which consists of a series of user interfaces, backend databases, servers and software that selects certain types of data and metadata that the NSA has already collected using other methods.

rnote: Rogue missile launch is statistically rare (thankful for that!) and runaway planes are statistically rare (YES!). The probability that those two events would happen in close/direct proximity at the same time is....how-low-can-you-go?

rnote: Yes. They call him Dances-with-missiles and he’s good, very good. “Send him and not us,” good.(particularly if not drone operator)

rnote: In time - fast. Impossibly fast for coincidence. Good thing that plane had two jets following equipped for the task and in the right place/right time.

rnote: Billionaires and I move in separate circles - can’t say. Billionaires are limited in number. Those who own islands are a small subset. Soros, Epstein, Branson come to mind.

rnote: Unfortunately I have no FAA training in crash analysis. That doesn’t stop me from opining that the debris field and (missing) impact crater looks too small for the purported crash. Therefore, I’m not certain the pilot was killed if aboard (where did he really land?). Drone is still possible but in either scenario, pilot was well beyond “video gamer” status.

My theory (yes, I know, but it’s free to play in this casino):
Military operation planned and radio script recorded well ahead of time. Runaway plane ruse provides support for air traffickers to keep the area clear. Cooperation with local air traffic control for pre-recorded fake radio transmission and to clear the airspace where this operation would take place.

What the public heard of this “runaway” plane’s radio transmission was unrelated to the actual communication between the Q400 and the 2 fighter jets because the coordinating pilots and there tiny little margin for error had “stuff, and things” to talk about.

I’m puzzled by the “bait” aspect of the use of the twin prop aircraft. But I like the prior thread proposal that the bait aircraft (Q400) gives the jets an excuse to operate in the area. But “bait” and the Q drop seems to imply that the missile was fired at the twin prop bait craft. Why risk exposing illicit missile launch facility to take down a joyriding twin prop aircraft? Other, smaller things take down aircraft. This makes me think that the island dwellers were trolled (leaks-r-us) to believe that an attempt would be made on their facility by a twin engine plane fitting that description (retrofitted for...dropping something? Or droning something? More intimidating than those cool flares?). So the missile shot would be defensive.

So put the Q-Bait-400 in the air and circle the island with the size of aircraft that can perform that circle/radius but not too small to pose a threat. Here’s where it gets harder: apparently the time it takes to go from standby to missile launch is known. The F-15’s would have to be there at....around just the right time when missile is launched?????? Small commercial airliner could be expected to have chaff and be more maneuverable than a whale sized commercial plane. That sure isn’t much comfort though.

Why wait for missile launch? Why not send something stealth to drop something stealthy? Rules of engagement? Technically we’re a gentle people, not accustomed to hearing fighter jets pass by overhead on their way to bomb a island neighbors into obeying fishing regulations. Ordinarily we send people with clipboards and zoning regulations regarding illicit rogue missile silos to advise homeowners that they’ll need to get a special permit for modern warfare equipment.

So maybe the Q400 “had” to be fired on to trigger rules of engagement? This makes me think GOOD PILOT was flying remotely because otherwise, GOOD PILOTS find it hard to sustain body temperature above room temperature. “There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no bold old pilots.” Or was the missile allowed to hit/destroy a drone Q-bait-400? MIght explain the “smallish” debris field and one or two broken trees.

Again, it doesn’t take a missile to take down an aircraft so I think the missile aficionados believed they had to fire to defend the facility from destruction. Or maybe the missile was the cute/compact kind. Like the kind that were said to be concealed in what looks like big rig trailers? Or something embedded? Otherwise, what’s wrong with a perfectly economical shoulder fired rocket?

Missilefags are asleep right now, or they would tell me just how silly I am to think that return fire from one or two F-15 would be targeting missile silo(s) open/exposed because it just fired a missile - this is better than trying to destroy an embedded silo with defensive doors closed (camouflaged?) and reinforced to protect against attack (Open wide and say “AHHHHH”). Yes, there are larger bunker busters but those would rattle the china in homes around the sound, and leave an attractive, memorable crater. To make this work for minimal munitions, missile bay doors/hatches open?

If this supposed missile launch location is the same as the missile launch re POTUS, then the billionaire fisherman would have known that payback was “forthcoming.” Missile silos may not be as portable as some would like. So they had to sit there and try to threaten or plot their way out of it. Or wait it out (the DS is still unaware it’s losing) They could threaten launch on populated area if approached. They were going to run out of MRE’s sooner or later and a billionaire facing Cheeze Whiz and Ritz crackers has nothing left to lose.

Yes, I may be 188% wrong here but if anything, it’s a token of how grateful I am that these pilots are on OUR SIDE. :)

My inference - they know that whenever kids are taken to the water, something bad is likely to happen to them. If they’re lucky they’re taken to a yacht offshore (cough, NBC execs, cough?) - and the others ... don’t come back.

Prior consideration of “watch the water” considered the use of Miami based things (lots of stuff) involved with Haiti as a port of entry, etc. When Parkland happened, we were reminded of DWS involvement there etc. It’s all in the realm of “watch the water”

But, now, “Q” gives us a directive to read the article carefully, and it starts with this ref.

If I understand correctly, this guy (texokie posted bio above while handing me one of the special brownies on the other side of the plate lol) that is focus of the story is a white hat. I don’t think a black hat would be portraying the perps and things in the way the article (from last year) does.

I got the impression from the context that they use the question asking the children who’s afraid of the water as some kind of test + way to query the kids - if they’re scared of the water, there may (will) be a reason why.
