USA Today reporter dies after hit-and-run accident in NE DC on Friday

WASHINGTON -- A USA Today reporter died in a hit-and-run accident on Friday night on H St, Northeast in D.C. Oren Dorell, 53, was a foreign affairs and breaking news reporter. According to police, the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of H St., Northeast. Dorell was riding a motorcycle when a car hit him. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Former Vatican diplomat indicted on child pornography charges

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - A Catholic priest who worked as a diplomat at the Vatican's embassy in Washington was indicted on Saturday on charges of possessing child pornography in the United States and Canada. A Vatican statement said an investigation found that Msgr. Carlo Alberto Capella, who was arrested in the Vatican in April after he had been recalled, had allegedly possessed and exchanged "a large quantity" of child pornography.

Also, there is a very curious thing going on over at CNN.I'm never up at 2:00 am in the morning. It's a rare occurrence. Two nights ago I was.For two hours I watched a tribute to Bourdain on CNN.It was really well done,they had almost every heavy weight CNN anchor reporter whatever there singing his praises if you were a Bourdain fan it would have grabbed you.

Problem is the whole thing which was at least two hours worth was extremely well done. Too well done for CNN. My question has become how did they put something like that together so well, so quickly, only hours after Bourdain's '"SUICIDE" if they didn't know it was going to happen?

Makes no sense. CNN went from a third rate network to a world class production almost overnight with virtually no time to put it together.

A truly amazing coincidence.

Quite the link really gets your mind rolling.Add in bourdains four days spent with elon musk and plans he had for the future of his show,his sudden death and CNN’s ability to put up a two hours bio on bourdain in less than a day and you have the makings of a great story if nothing else.
