In the final episode of NCIS season 15, which was broadcast on 22 May 2018, Gibbs visits the grave of his wife and daughter. The gravestone also has his name with date of birth 1954. Thus, he is 64 years old.

I was just talking about this song last night when it came on our Pandora ‘Surf Music’ feed. LOVED this movie when I was young. Tried to watch it a few years ago and it was pretty unwatchable. Like I said though, I LOVED this movie and especially LOVE the song. Have to sing along really LOUD, and of course, I know all the words ; )

Now that we have GPS technology, I’m thinking we can do away with the headstones to mark gravesites. Just plug in a GPS coordinate such as 43°21’44” N 71°16’10” and presto, there is your burial site!

That’s in very rural Kazakhstan. There should be plenty of room there.
You’re idea isn’t bad. Good headstones are expensive. Combining the GPS coordinates with a page on Findagrave would be a more modern tribute. And instead of preserving the body, why not just a few cells?
