Dustin Guess was working outside on a hog fence Thursday morning, he says, when two pit bulls began their attack.
But the two adult dogs one male and one female werent going after the man from West Fork, Arkansas. Instead, they were targeting Guess 4-year-old son, Matthew, according to Fox6. The female pit bull sunk its teeth into Matthews legs and started to drag him, police say, while the male dog attacked the toddlers face.
Guess told KNWA that he started to sprint toward his son with the hopes of separating him from the two vicious dogs. Its a memory that still haunts him, he said.
He said daddy, they had my face, he said. I couldnt win. . . .

:-) You are very kind. May a gracious Lord bless you.
It actually isn’t the dogs’ fault. They are bred for a purpose, that is: to make money by dogfighting, and it’s worth a LOT of money, like drugs. Also, the dogs are subject to more abuse than many other dogs I have seen, and in general maltreated.
How to stop it being so profitable?
I don’t have time to find the article on the characteristics of the breed type at the moment, but I have posted this source on FR before: http://www.animals24-7.org/2015/12/23/pit-bull-behavior/
End.
I think his experience with both owners and their dogs is how he formed an opinion. Could be wrong but I have a hard time seeing this guy reading Psychology Today. He despises the breed.
I know my neighbors on either side of me very well. One has a dog, a nice well-behaved dog, and that I will protect. The other, no pets, but nice people. Any other dog running loose on my property WILL be shot. No hesitation. I hate, seriously HATE people who let their dogs run loose, to crap and pee on other people’s property, and to chase their pets. Only one way to teach them.
Thanks.
The attack on my granddaughter? NO, there was not even a police report or a story in the local paper. It was one daughters pet, and the other daughters child approached the dog. Animal control did not take the dog, but recommended it be euthanized. The testimony from witnesses, said the dog was not angry, and didn’t shake the baby at all. He just bit and pulled back, chin and jaw-line, to one eyebrow, a nice semi-circle. Needless to say, since the one daughter who was offered a choice, kept the dog for two weeks to find another home for him. Hand to God, this is in WA state. It makes me wonder how often this happens. At the hospital, they said it was no uncommon within families that the children get bitten, and it is not treated as a “trigger event”.
I will PM you a pic if you want on FR mail, not today as I will have to dig up those pics..the ones today are much better. You really can only see the red lines. Needless to say, this is now the family favorite. My other daughter, hubby and their kids are moving 2,000 miles away because of the tension and guilt.
Thank you for your kind offer; it is not necessary for me to see an individual photo of the result of a dog attack - and it might be something that would be a reminder of trauma that you do not need to repeat, especially considering your family situation.
I am actually interested in the numbers of maulings recorded by medical entities that do not make it into news reports. It makes me wonder how many are missed.
Here is an example of such an article: http://www.animals24-7.org/2018/01/08/57-dog-attack-deaths-645-disfigurements-in-2017-led-by-pit-bulls/
Death to all pit bulls.
The unvaccinated dog has to be kept alive for ten days to observe for signs of rabies. The last thing that kid needs is to also receive rabies treatment shots.
My vet decided to stop treating pit bulls after he was attacked by 3 in a row. Social media attacks were viciousmost of them by people from other states who didnt even have any personal contact with him. Someone said it was the same as a doctor refusing to treat blacks!
Whip em up good Chet. I knew it was you. Quit posting to me liar.
Bull dog hate site.
If that was my baby, I’d take those dogs on vacation. A National Lampoon Vacation!
Get concealed carry insurance. It will work for you, if you are attacked by a pit bull religionist after stopping an attempted attack from a dangerous animal.
This post is a copy from a different thread.
For the record, I am not Chet99. I have heard of this poster; I have been told that his posts are archived, and apparently he posted extensively on pit bull dogs. I do not know if he is active. I have not looked at or for his posts.
I am trying to decide if you are a pit bull apologist.
Dissembling while calling me a moron answers the question in my mind. Thank you.

According to your wishes, I will no longer post to you.
Yes, this particular tactic of anthropomorphising pit bull type dogs by likening them to black persons and them saying that the veterinarian is racist for not wanting to treat a dangerous dog is insulting to black people.
When someone says this, they are implying that a dog and a person of color are equivalent.
It also implies that an animal (possession) and a human (non-possession) are the same.
Please do not allow this sort of thinking to continue unchallenged.
If someone said this to me, I would call them a racist right back for insinuating that a dog and a human (any color) are of the same value. They are not.
When i was 14 the next door neighbors pit mix who had chased me over my fence and into the garage countless times had the misfortune to run straight into an old sharpened pitchfork( my dad had put a new handle on for exactly that purpose ) and was dead in about a minute
Owner went berserk called the cops...who reminded her she was lucky that it went that way
