Dustin Guess was working outside on a hog fence Thursday morning, he says, when two pit bulls began their attack.
But the two adult dogs one male and one female werent going after the man from West Fork, Arkansas. Instead, they were targeting Guess 4-year-old son, Matthew, according to Fox6. The female pit bull sunk its teeth into Matthews legs and started to drag him, police say, while the male dog attacked the toddlers face.
Guess told KNWA that he started to sprint toward his son with the hopes of separating him from the two vicious dogs. Its a memory that still haunts him, he said.
He said daddy, they had my face, he said. I couldnt win. . . .

The Gofund me page I am sure is started for the poor dogs are certainly scared for life by the rough treatment and the humiliation they had to endure by the lack of understanding and abusive ‘Human Privilege’!
(Hope I made it in before the Pit Bull deniers!)
Was there a news report of the attack? Even a Facebook? If so, can you post a link?
So sorry to hear your grandbaby went through that. I would have killed that animal in a heartbeat, too. They are vicious.
Most effective against pit bulls have been posted:
#1 Firearms 80% effective
#2 Fire Extinguishers, 70% effective, aim for nose and in mouth
#3 Sprays, etc: 40%
A blunt instrument, such as an axe handle, appears to be most useful used as a “Break Stick” jammed in between the teeth, and turned to force jaws apart.

I hate these dogs.
The pit bull deniers will be might upset with you.
Happens all the time. The local laws prevail. What are the specific laws in your area in this situation? The answer may become important to you.
The owner is their landlord.
His opinion appears to be borne out by the 2009 Psychology Today article “Are pets like their owners?”. But there are some veterinarians who regard pit bulls and their tendancies as an income source due to the injuries.
I just donated $20.00, wish I could send more.
The father should shoot that other dog. If the owner objects, society would be improved if he was shot, as well.
This has begun, albeit in a very small portion of the cases.

Yes, bottom line is these dogs are pound-for-pound more dangerous to humans than the wolves from which they were bred thousands of years ago.
I am very glad you made it to the house. How big were the rocks? Have you had any experience in the wild?
A citation??? The horrors. [/s]
The owner should be put down.
You may wish to - as they say - “Educate Yourself!” - as I was told, several years ago, by a pit bull apologist. I did as they so strongly suggested. I thought that I should share what I had found with others.

Dont bully my breed, but we will bully the victims.

Thanks. The rocks were of all sizes. Grabbed what I could. Never seen the dog before. It happened up at my camp in a rural area....the thing came out of nowhere. Thing is with pits, at least as far as I could see....they don’t feel much pain. I hit that dog right in the head with several large rocks very close up. Did not seem to hurt it much.
Apparently, the breed characteristics have gone into the gene pool of “rez dogs” now.
