Far-left late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, who is currently one of the most polarizing and divisive personalities in the country, admitted he has seen polls that show that his partisanship “has cost me commercially.”
“According to polls I’ve seen, it has cost me commercially,” he told Oprah Winfrey in an interview for her O Magazine. “That’s not ideal, but I wouldn’t change anything I said.”
“I know my job is, for the most part, to entertain people and make them laugh. That said, if I can be selfish every once in a while and talk about something serious that’s important to me, then I do want to take that opportunity,” Kimmel added. “But I don’t want to abuse my position. I pick my battles. Ninety percent of the time, I’ll joke around, but some of the jokes, I hope, make people think.”

Conservatives like humor, and you can poke fun and mock our leaders all you want. Their problem is they are trying to pretend that vitriol spewing is comedy. I think I have a very diverse sense of humor (though I don’t think most understand it), I have heard well done comedy that roasted the living heck out of some of my heroes, that I found uproariously funny, but even as hard hitting as it was it was tasteful and didn’t just visibly drip of contempt, condescension, and just plain meanness.

That's because we haven't driven them broke enough. Put them into poverty, and suddenly pissing off your customers will become an important issue to them.
If the shoe were on the other foot, and Kimmel was a conservative, the liberals would be filing lawsuits against him for using his forum to advance political candidates without filing the appropriate FEC paperwork about in kind contributions.
We should demand the FEC start fining him for meddling in national politics. His act is equivalent to monetary contributions, and the FEC limits how much money you can donate to candidates.
We need to be lawfaring these people.

Jimmy likes to think that. The reality is that he’s a boring, unimaginative, thoroughly banal host. He’d be losing in the ratings even if he didn’t say anything political. The politics is his way of justifying his failure, just like dozens of other stars do when they crash and burn.
Oh, I am sure the drama queen is vastly overpaid.
One has actual talent. Both are lib assclowns, though the talented one tried to hide it a little more until recently.
