Will have to buy a riding lawn mower soon.
Have never owned one.
42 Inch seem to be the right size for my yard.
Have no experience with any, so I ask for your comments and suggestions on what brand to look at and what to stay away from...........................
I’ve never heard of that brand..................
Good brand...............
That’s good info!......................
You can see he is not averse to breaking the law. See how he is illegally wasting CA water?? See how that water is totally misused, cascading in drops all down his body like that? For shame when he could have just gassed up his leafblower.
LOL!...................one of those ‘foreign jobbies’................
Sorry an 48 inch
If you want to have fun mowing the yard, get a zero turn. I had a 42 inch toro that did the job on my 2 acres. Needed a zero turn because there were lots of trees and shrubberies to maneuver around.
Also, BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that it has a beer holder.
Or he could always get a scythe and get his upper body in shape.
Yeah, especially on a hot August day.................
I didn’t know they had different ‘grades’. Just thought they sold the same mowers as everybody else.................
There’s a dealer right down the road from me.
WAAAAY too expensive and big for my yard.............
I have 2 acres of yard and a Kubota BX series tractor,(zero problems)... they have smaller models and zero turn as well.
This may help:

Look at what yer local landscapers/lawnguys are using.
Around here all we see are Scags
It begs the question - do you REALLY need a riding mower?
For reasons nobody has ever adequately explained, some folks have postage stamp size lots where a riding mower doesn’t even have room to turn around. It would be comical if it wasn’t pathetic.
Riding mowers have (generally) a poor quality of cut. They are suited for the rough, fareway type fescues and such.
A lightweight push mower - pre-EPA - are outstanding. Magnesium decked staggered wheel 2-stroke Lawn Boy, basically anything from about 1953-1983 with a sharp blade is probably best. Though not recommended they will plow through even tall, wet grass like it’s nothing, where the standard 4 cycle mower will be bogged down.
Buy a couple of goats
Farm animals are now prohibited in my neighborhood, thanks to the Vietnamese Pot Belly Pig craze a few years back................
Or the “ladies walking club” where they wear strange clothes, swing their arms in exagerated fashion etc. And then hire someone to cut their grass.
Here it’s de rigeur for folks to walk or jog in the road itself, despite the fact there are large grassy boulevards and sidewalks. Can’t fix stupid I guess.
Have never heard of that brand or even seen one.
Must not be sold in The South................
