There used to be a chain bakery/coffee shop called "House of Pie" which specialized in (you guessed it) pies. Their logo was the pi symbol embedded within a pie (within a house).

The joke was especially cute back then, in a somewhat more innocent time(late 1960s-early 1970s), since it was not at all ironic.
