Unless the SUV was in 4WD lock, the center differential should have caused the right front wheel to lose it’s rotating power and caused the right rear wheel to spin freely once that right rear wheel was airborne.
Additionally, if the vehicle is new enough, there is electronic safety built into it to actually cause the right front wheel to stop turning once the computer notices the left two were traveling at a considerably less speed than the right front. Our Subaru has it.
“Traffic is getting worse by the day.” It will cause some heads to explode, but I think “IT IS TRUMP’S FAULT”.
If unemployment is at an all time LOW...if Black unemployment is at a recorded low...then there are a hell of a lot MORE ppeople driving to and from work. And more people with wages are on the road driving to the shopping center.
In my town in Massachusetts, I haven’t seen so many “Help Wanted”, “Positions available”, and “NOW Hiring” signs in I don’t know how many years.
The simple fact is that very, very few people WALK to work any longer. Thus....worsening traffic. See what Trump caused.

I live right off of that stretch of 78 and the traffic on that road is aggravating during most hours of the day.
Seeing this doesn’t surprise me very much. I dread having to take that route.

Then why didn't the CHP talk to the driver that rolled as he lay sideways on the freeway?
It’s just not worth it. The guy who got out of the car was just as foolish. He had no way to know that the SUV driver wouldn’t pull out a gun and shoot him dead, or get out and beat him up. Is it worth your life or getting beaten up to chew somebody out over some traffic irritation?
I believe this was near college headed east. Not in the traffic flow to change freeways. IIRC
There is along line of traffic to exit at college.
