John Podesta, a seasoned hand

Talk of pig roasting and slaughter kept popping up during dinner and was the last tale Podesta told before the guests left. To earn money while attending law school at Georgetown, he spent two years working at Turkey Run Farm in McLean, now called the Claude Moore Colonial Farm, an 18th-century re-creation.

He dressed in britches, a blousy linen shirt, floppy hat and homemade shoes and learned how to butcher and roast a pig.

Standing in the kitchen and acting out his role, Podesta explained: “It’s best to do the butchering at 4 a.m., “because pigs should be slaughtered when it is cool, and it takes a long time to roast them. The pig is hauled on a front-end loader in order to split and gut it. It’s most important to slow the pig down by shooting it between the eyes so you can cut its throat. It makes the pig less ornery and a whole lot more cooperative than if you just stick a knife in its throat.”

In homage to these skills, Podesta used to have a picture of a pig on a spit as his screen saver, but his staffers made him get rid of it, because he said: “They couldn’t stand looking into the pig’s eyes during meetings.”

I read it was the prior mention of 12:34.
So assuming the Q drop 18:12 (rounding up 5 seconds) that’s 6:12 PDT but 9:12 EST.
So 6:12 PDT plus 12:34 (hr:min) would be 6:46 PDT which is 9:46 EST......I think.....not sure...........

Maybe Im not understanding that you are understanding what Im saying. If swordmaker is the person Im thinking of then maybe he will get what Im saying here. Its hard for me to explain without saying too much.

I did not use this particular format of communication but of the ones Im familiar with...

If it meant "imminent, specific location" the way you are using it then it would not be tacked at the end after the signature. There is a logic to the way communications are formatted. "Delta"(imminent specific) is one of the most important parts of the message so there might be a number of ways and places that it might be put in here (again, I didnt use whatever this is) but it would be maybe first and last or the first line might read "DELTA_WARNING_UK_" or "WARNING_UK_DELTA", those would be logical to use that way if it meant that. You wouldnt send a message and then on the end, after youve signed it add "Oh ya, BTW, this is immediate and specific".

Would that make a difference in how you see it? I think it makes a slight difference. Q delta would seem to be more of an identifier, while Q, delta would separate the identifier from the delta. Yea?

BTW, Swordmaker, I'm keenly interested in your responses to the Haiku at the bottom of post #863, if you wouldn't mind too much.

I found every one of them quite profound, true, and insightful. They describe the state of affairs present today in short meaningful ways that cause one to think.

And all the heads of state of Europe were there, and they not only stayed for the entire "ceremony" - they were applauding and cheering!

What I found amazing was the expressions on the faces of the vast majority of the performers. It was obvious they were NOT enjoying their performance and would rather be anywhere else than doing what they were being told to do. The Alpine Horn blowers, singers, dancers, acrobats, almost to a man and woman, were not smiling and they looked miserable and many quite a bit disgusted.

I’ve performed in large choral groups, even in Carnegie Hall, and performed some difficult music, but one smiles when one is singing well for an audience and doing something one enjoys, and that emotion comes through in the performance.

These people were not enjoying what they were doing and it came out in their expression and also in the sloppiness of their performance. Frankly, I think they were aghast at the content and tone of the entire program. They endured it, while telegraphing in their performances, doing the least necessary to get the job done so they could get out of there and away from those people who liked that kind of thing!

The second highest per capita....Florida at 0.00175. ..... a child in Virginia is about 2.67 times more likely to turn up missing than in second ranked Florida. Most of the states run about 0.0010, making Virginia an 4.67 to 1 outlier. The state of Maryland nearby to DC is also quite high on a relative basis at 0.00179.

ransomnote: Note that Gannet is located in McLean, VA (Fairfax County) and according to the disturbing article at the link, “Almost all the missing children were concentrated in Farifax County, Norfolk” and has high concentration of gov officials.
