According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, “Children are being targeted and sold for sex in America every day.”
Sex trafficking—especially when it comes to the buying and selling of young girls—has become big business in America, the fastest growing business in organized crime and the second most-lucrative commodity traded illegally after drugs and guns.
As investigative journalist Amy Fine Collins notes, “It’s become more lucrative and much safer to sell malleable teens than drugs or guns.
Consider this: every two minutes, a child is exploited in the sex industry....On average, a child might be raped by 6,000 men during a five-year period of servitude.

The other dirty secret is the amount of money men are willing to pay for these "products" with no regard for the atrocities being committed by the "businesses" to provide these "products". Maybe secret is the wrong word. Ignored is more like it.

Another example of this is the hyperbolic overrepresentation of homosexuality in movies and TV.
Every single TV or movie family, office staff, circle of friends, police squad, - you name it - has at least one token homosexual. Every TV episode or movie plot includes a homosexual element.
If the Hollywood depiction of life in American suburbia were to be taken as a measure of reality, one would think half of us were homosexuals and the other half were considering it as an option.
The constant Hollywood exaggeration of homosexuality can’t be an accident; clearly there is an agenda - I assume it is to promote acceptance of homosexuality by presenting it as if it were the norm.
Among the thousands of people I regularly associate with, yes, there are homosexuals. I’ve never counted them but the overall percentage is very small.
Look, I have no wish to dismiss or downplay the problem of child sex trafficking in America. The problem does exist and, as some have said, even a single child being subjected to this abuse would be tragic.
But there are all sorts of reasons people exaggerate - sensationalism, fund raising, government programs and grants, politics and career enhancement, social engineering, to name a few.
Some exaggerate with the good intention of raising awareness of a righteous cause. I suspect that is the motive here and I sympathize.
But let’s face it; exaggerated claims and bogus “statistics” do not help any cause. In fact, they are more often a turn-off to people like me who care deeply about their fellow man, but just do not respond well to being manipulated.
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to direct that at you. Some of the posters seem to think this is a manufactured crisis, when, in fact, it’s a burgeoning “industry.”

I have a friend who used to represent girls busted in (mostly) Asian massage parlors. Not only were many of them considered minors, most of them were here illegally and controlled/exploited by Asian organized crime.
Not sure if he ever told me the youngest age. But this is just incredible, that girls that young could be used and abused in this country.
A small town near here had some faggot that kept writing articles in the newspaper about human trafficking being a problem.
Nobody else saw it and he couldn’t list a single case, and neither could anyone else.
Long story short, the faggot wound up getting elected Mare and screwed that town up 100x worse than it already was.

My youngest daughter (of three daughters and three sons) is turning 13 in a few days. Attitudinal and hormonal changes have already begun. She’s not as compliant as she used to be. But I will not stop trying to keep her safe until two weeks after I’m dead.
