Little Barbies: Sex Trafficking Of Young Girls Is America's Dirty Little Secret
Authored by John Whitehead via The Rutherford Institute,
Theyre called the Little Barbies. Children, young girlssome as young as 9 years oldare being bought and sold for sex in America. The average age for a young woman being sold for sex is now 13 years old. This is Americas dirty little secret.
According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Children are being targeted and sold for sex in America every day.
Sex traffickingespecially when it comes to the buying and selling of young girlshas become big business in America, the fastest growing business in organized crime and the second most-lucrative commodity traded illegally after drugs and guns.
As investigative journalist Amy Fine Collins notes, Its become more lucrative and much safer to sell malleable teens than drugs or guns.
Consider this: every two minutes, a child is exploited in the sex industry....On average, a child might be raped by 6,000 men during a five-year period of servitude.

While even ONE is a criminal tragedy, I don’t believe it’s a “widespread problem” that girls from 9-13 years are bought and sold in America.
I just don’t believe it.
And the article cites no references/sources for the data they present.
Is this just sensationalism?
Let’s start with death first.
If that doesn’t stop them, put them in prison.
Lastly, give ‘em a fair trial.
If I could, Id follow my youngest daughter around all day like a bodyguard. For that matter, all my daughters.
Me too. If this (see link) is all he accomplishes, it is enough. (But hes already done more than that.)

” It is estimated that the porn industry brings in more money than Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Yahoo.”
With quotes like that, who can believe anything else the author has to say?
Porn has total revenues of more than $400bil per year?
Laughable.
If you read that article with a serious eye you see that it’s a bunch of generalizations and numbers that are thrown on paper. I truly believe that evil such as this exists, and I have no doubt that it’s in the U.S. as well. But this article was with little documented foundation.
I hope the Law Enforcement authorities have far more than this article did.
The article does give some sources, such as USA today, and The Institute for Missing and Exploitive Children.
The article also states that it is about 100,000 children - compared to our population of over 325,000,000, I guess you can just shrug and say it’s not widespread.
I know that the Pedo and Sex Trafficing rings arrested was 3000 shortly after Trump took office. I haven’t been tracking to see what it is now.
Operation Spade took down a trafficking ring that involved more than 20 countries and saved several thousand people IIRC. It was a 3 year Interpol operation several years ago.
With gangs such as MS13 in almost every state, I wouldn’t want to say it’s not a problem. According to what I have read, MS13 is very into trafficking of all sorts.
And with smuggling people over the border, there’s bound to be some that wind up in unexpected situations where they might be exploited like this.
So just shrug and don’t believe it - Just believe that the journalists who are working to expose it are raving idiots who just want to be sensational- you are free to believe whatever you like-Just laugh and go on without a care. It’s still a more or less free country.
Write the Rutherford Institute and ask them where they go their statistics. Since they were talking about the actual number of kids to be 100 thousand, that’s not many compared to 325 million population - probably have that many in San Francisco, Hollywood etc. alone.
Mexicans love little girls. If you are driving behind a Mexican that is passing a elementary school at closing, be sure to be ready to brake, when they stop to eye young girls.
Many times being sent jail for pedo activity is the same as a death sentence. Not any bleeding hear liberals walking around in prison yards.
“The article does give some sources, such as USA today, and The Institute for Missing and Exploitive Children.”
I checked all of the linked sources.
They all are estimates from people who’s funding depends upon this being a very serious problem.
As for the sex trafficking ring arrest you mentioned, can you cite a reference? I think I saw an article that indicated a little over 100 in the US.
I don’t care what you believe. I didn’t do the research-go challenge the Ruthersford Institute.
However, Trump recently declared a state of emergency related to human trafficking, and no one even challenged him on it. So perhaps it is a big problem.
Or maybe he’s just a silly alarmist. Below is a link - pick whichever statistical source you want.
I didn’t write the article. Your question is more appropriately addressed to the authors. Below is a link to many statistics-perhaps you could pick one that suits your opinion better.
The article is sourced from USA Today in which the author explain his methods of research, investigations, and making estimates:

Thank you for your response. I too pray for restoration. I am astounded that most of the reaction to this article is to jump on me and deny that the problem exists.
Yes, it’s my understanding that the majority are Hispanic and African.
People only have to read the newspapers, watch the news to see that there is an extreme problem. Denying a problem exists doesn’t make it go away, it just makes the deniers look foolish.
Sessions seems to be going gangbusters on pedos.
Those people need to be vivisected.
