Roy Moore tries to overturn election because black people voted
Share Blue Media ^ | Dec. 28, 2017 | Matthew Chapman

Losing Senate candidate and accused pedophile Roy Moore wants to void the Alabama election results, citing an "unusual" number of black voters.

Some people simply do not know when to give up. One such person is rejected Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Faced with accusations that he stalked and molested teenage girls, as well as his views that women and Muslims should be ineligible for office and that America has not been “great” since the abolition of slavery, Moore lost a race that should have been completely safe for Republicans to Democrat Doug Jones, a former U.S. attorney and civil rights hero.

But Moore has refused to concede the race. And on Thursday morning, he filed an emergency motion in state circuit court to block the results from being certified, alleging widespread voter fraud and calling for a new election.

One of the principal arguments Moore is making to support his claim of voter fraud is that an “unusual” number of black people voted:

Moore cites high turnout in a county that's far higher-than-average African-American (a pattern that's not exceptional & is documented throughout state) as evidence of fraud. African Americans voting is apparently inherently suspicious.

Moore’s complaint also falsely asserts that the results are suspiciously different from exit polls, and claims that there was an “unexplained pattern of voters with out-of-state drivers’ licenses,” based on the uncorroborated testimony of a single poll worker at a church in Montgomery.

It is in Moore’s nature to refuse to abandon causes that he has already lost, as evidenced by the fact that he was fired from the state supreme court for violating the Constitution, then re-elected and fired again.

All of this would simply be amusing if it were not for the fact that Moore has spent the past few weeks fundraising for his “Election Integrity Fund.” Moore is trying to scam real people out of their money to support his delusions.

Jones, the man who defeated Moore earlier this month, released a statement excoriating Moore’s lawsuit as a “desperate attempt” to “subvert the will of the people.” But he was not alone — Republicans joined the call for Moore to let it go.

New Jersey Republican Rep. Leonard Lance blasted Moore’s complaint as “ridiculous,” saying “he should concede the election.” Alabama’s GOP Secretary of State John Merrill, whose job it was to manage the election, agreed. When asked if the lawsuit would make a difference, he said “The short answer to that is no. Doug Jones will be certified today.”

After they stuck by him through overt racism and pedophilia, Roy Moore is finally becoming the embarrassment to the Alabama Republican Party that he should have been all along.

He was wrongfully smeared by lying political whores. This suit is necessary to preserve democracy. There is massive evidence of fraud in Birmingham. Thousands of “extra votes” came in. Go ROY!!

First step for Moore is to survey blacks who voted and asked them WHERE they voted.

Based on current Democrat fraud techniques, most of these people will not know, as they did not vote - rather their proxies voted for them.

Rigged elections are the new normal, and we should just accept it.

Oh, guess I better use a /s tag, since we apparently have some FReepers who actually espouse that tripe.

Well, he SAID he took one. He submitted an affidavit SAYING he took one. He didn’t submit the actual polygraph.

More bizarrely, he says he took this polygraph AFTER the election.

If he knew he would pass, and was going to take one, why didn’t he do it a week before the election, and publish the results publicly? That would have had an actual impact on the election.

Yes, on the other hand even Brietbart admitted today they they thought the charges were credible. They didn’t report that because they didn’t want to establish a precedent for accusations against Trump.

Mr. Moore needs to give it up. He lost.

Aren't you at all concerned that those vile women with altered group memories (or outright lies) and their despicable lawyer have slithered away? This was an unfair hit job and establishment Republicans are complicit. They'd rather lose elections than let those who truly support the Deplorable Agenda win nominations.

The GOP needs to look at the November 2018 mid terms with a full array of strategic and tactical weapons.

************

Agree, but would add you also need competent candidates. Moore was absolutely lacking in
that regard. If you are going to get into a race then get in and give 100% of time and
effort to
winning. Lead and support your parties efforts to help you.

Moore was absent when the shoe leather needed to be on the ground campaigning for the election.

That’s just silly. How would a polygraph test have prevented voter fraud?

The republican secretary of state says that did not happen to any appreciable degree.

Some sites making claims are satire sites. And this article notes that one poll worker made the claim of seeing out-of-state drivers licenses.

If there is any evidence, that would be interesting, but there seems like no real evidence beyond the standard couple hundred questionable cases from every election.

Whoever wrote this needs to have their teeth punched out. When there starts being consequences for writing deliberately inflammatory lies, then people won't want to do it anymore.

When she reported it, i was arrested and had to leave and not come back (to MY house)

Then when the judge heard what happened he threw her out because he knew she was lying, and she lost custody of our kids and everything.

He lost. He was a terrible senate candidate, and he lost.

Here we go again. For some reason people want to focus on the "he was a terrible candidate" (he wasn't) instead of the primary and actual cause for this loss; Lying accusations and deliberate back stabbing by Republican Party officials.

The complaint that "he was a terrible candidate", is a lightning bug. The fact that the news media promoted a bunch of crap from two kooks and that Republican party officials could not wait to embrace these unproven accusations and urged people to not vote for Moore, is "Lightning."

The "terrible candidate" aspect is 1/10th of the cause of the loss. The other 9/10ths of the cause is the lying accusations and the backstabbing.

Why do you focus on the minor instead of the major?

I am expecting an injunction momentarily. No Judge would deny an injunction in this case. The evidence is overwhelming!!!

Agreed. The more he fights this, the more you can see what a mistake it was to nominate him in the first place.

Nominating a man who fights is a mistake? Why is that a mistake? Do you prefer gentleman losers like Romney?

Chris McDaniel should have went scorched earth on the McConnell backstabbers who cheated him out of the election. Moore should do everything he can possibly do to say "F*** you" to the people who are cheating him out of his.

I admire a fighter. Gentlemen losers, not so much.
